Paradise Lake and Campground is located at 593 Keeling Dr, Keeling, VA 24566, USA. This address places it in the quiet, rural community of Keeling, situated in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The location offers a peaceful escape from urban hustle while still being reasonably accessible from larger towns and major roadways in Southern Virginia.
To reach Keeling from major population centers in Virginia, such as Richmond or Roanoke, you would typically use major interstates like I-81 or I-95, then transition to U.S. Routes such as US-58 or US-29, which crisscross Southern Virginia. From Danville, a nearby larger city, Keeling Drive would be a relatively short drive, generally to the east. While the campground is described as "off the beaten path," this often means a more secluded and tranquil setting once you arrive, away from heavy traffic and noise. The roads leading to the campground are generally well-maintained, ensuring relatively easy access for both cars and RVs.

Paradise Lake and Campground Reviews
Excellent location to bring the family. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean campgrounds and well kept. The lake is clean and full of good size bass. Easy access to the lake with your kayak or canoe. We stayed in lot 44 this past weekend and had a great time. We were able to tie our canoe off at the boat dock and had easy access to fish all weekend. I would highly recommend this off the beaten path camping facility.
Jun 17, 2025 · Chris ModerI travel for work and was really excited for this location with access to a lake and a pool for my kids. Unfortunately, those are some of the only things going for this place. They asked us the year and type of RV we had, we figured it may be to insure that the campground looks nice. When we pulled up that was far from the truth. There were many very run down campers with loads of junk sitting outside of them, it made it look trashy, that and the actual trash everywhere. I noticed they don't check spots after people leave either as someone left their poop hose attached and a water hose laying out, along with some garbage, which all got left for the next people that came to that spot.We are in a spot at the back of the campground where they keep long term customers, which is strange being that the water pressure and cell coverage are worse back there, sometimes barley getting a trickle of water but on average the water is at 20-25psi. We pay the same price as everyone else though, which in my opinion is way too much. They are working on another well back there, which is good, but it wont be done before we leave. There are a few more perks , the people are nice and you can have mail delivered here. I am just really unimpressed overall with the cost for what we get in this spot and how the area is kept. I wouldn't recommend for long term especially, which is unfortunate as this could be a really amazing place.
Jun 01, 2025 · Erin WirrengaLocation was good . Not far off the highway . Bathrooms were in Desperate need of a cleaning !Site had beautiful views but were very small on a hillside. We have a 16QBX.Only stayed 1night but couldn’t find the dump station and no one was in office till 10am . The place looked like they were not ready for campers . I’m sure it’s cleaned up by summer (at least I would hope so )
Mar 20, 2025 · Kathy SedlockBeautiful campground. Lots of trees. It could be a tight squeeze for a larger camper (we have 30'). We were here on the off season, we look forward to coming again in warmer weather. We stayed here so we could go to the new casino. It's only a 20+ minute drive. Bathhouse was warm & had hot water.
Jan 02, 2025 · Margo Kean-BellileMy fiancé was working working in the area and we needed a place to set up our camper for a few months, we got denied by multiple places and all the other places near by were just terrible looking! We found this place and they immediately understood our situation and found an available spot for us to stay, their rates were very reasonable. They have all the necessities as well (Laundry room, showers/bathrooms, pool+ lake, convience store+ game room/arcade where they sell propane, ice, snacks, drinks, some health supplies, fishing supplies, ice cream and movies!) there are walking trails through out the whole campground with beautiful scenery year round!! It is family ran and they all have the southern hospitality that comforts you! It is a clean park and bathrooms are cleaned daily! I would definitely recommend and I hope to be back one day!
