Pack Creek Mobile Home Park Introduce
For Utah locals planning an extended stay or seeking a convenient, amenity-rich base camp to explore the wonders of Moab, Pack Creek Mobile Home Park & Campground offers a practical and welcoming solution. Located a short drive south of downtown Moab, this family-owned and operated park provides a mix of full hookup RV sites and designated tent areas, catering to a variety of camping preferences. While it serves as a mobile home park for some long-term residents, it also provides excellent nightly and monthly rates for those visiting the area, establishing itself as a functional and value-driven option for exploring Utah's world-renowned outdoor playground.
What sets Pack Creek Mobile Home Park & Campground apart is its focus on essential amenities and a quiet atmosphere, often at a more accessible price point compared to some other Moab campgrounds. Despite its sometimes tight spaces, campers frequently praise the strong water pressure, the clean bathhouses with hot showers (free with reservation), and the on-site laundry facilities – all welcome comforts after a long day of hiking, biking, or exploring the red rock country. The presence of a dog park also makes it a friendly choice for those traveling with their furry companions, an important consideration for many Utah families.
The management at Pack Creek is consistently noted for being "great, organized, and friendly," ensuring that check-ins and extensions are handled smoothly. While the drive to popular attractions like Arches National Park might involve some traffic, the slightly "out of the way" location contributes to a generally quieter ambiance than campgrounds directly in the bustling Moab downtown. For Utah locals prioritizing full hookups, clean facilities, and a peaceful environment as they embark on their Moab adventures, Pack Creek Mobile Home Park & Campground presents a reliable and well-managed option.
Pack Creek Mobile Home Park & Campground is conveniently located at 1520 Murphy Ln # 6, Moab, UT 84532, USA. Its slightly "out of the way" position, a couple of miles south of Moab's bustling downtown on the way to the La Sal Mountains, offers a more tranquil setting compared to campgrounds directly in the heart of town. This allows for a generally quieter experience, which many campers appreciate.
Accessibility to Moab's world-famous attractions is still excellent from Pack Creek. While it's about a 20-25 minute drive to the entrance of Arches National Park (depending on traffic), this is a manageable commute for daily excursions. The campground is also well-situated for exploring other key areas like Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park, as well as accessing various mountain biking, hiking, and off-roading trails in the surrounding public lands.
The property is the "only off-highway multi-site campground in the Moab area," which contributes to its more secluded feel. Finding the entrance might require attention as it's not always prominently marked from the main road, but GPS navigation typically leads visitors directly to the office. The internal roads and sites are generally gravel, and while some sites can be unlevel and tight, the campground accommodates RVs up to 35 feet, with overflow parking available for tow vehicles. The location offers a good balance of peaceful retreat and convenient access to all that Moab has to offer.

Pack Creek Mobile Home Park Reviews
Very crowded spots. We had to watch out because our slide came within inches of our neighbors. Unlevel site. Partly shaded. For full hookups they don't want you to use the bathhouse, but if you insist, they'll give you a key. About 20-25 minutes drive to Arches with traffic.
Oct 09, 2024 · Raquelli GanelThis location is out of the way but getting a site the same day and then adding another night was super easy. Spots are tight and we were in a spot that made it impossible to open our awning. Huge bush/tree. Had to park midway in the spot to get all the hookups and still be able to put our slide out. Parked truck on end sideways. The manager is great, organized and friendly. Quiet campground, great water pressure and nice dog park. Would stay here again but ask for better spot.
Apr 01, 2024 · debbie allenThe worst RV sites ever on some abandoned junk yard gravel ground. Sites are so close to the other, as close as a parking spot! You don’t have any extra room in between sites, zero privacy.Additionally, Internet doesn’t work, I couldn’t use the spot for work. I had to go in town to use my 5G network.Need a key to use the bathroom, so many rules in the laundry room. Not friendly at allIm paying $75 for a cramped up parking lot with hookups. So not worth it
Oct 02, 2024 · Chen LeiWe love this campground! We've been going here for years, and have never once been disappointed. There's a great, well-kept playground for the kids, clean men's and women's bathrooms with recently (in the last couple of years) renovated showers, and a dog run. The campground has RV spots and tent spots, and is very well maintained. The staff is always so friendly, and we love how quiet it is. We absolutely be back again and again.
Mar 03, 2020 · Renon BradleyQuaint oasis near National Parks, shopping, and restaurants. The bathrooms and showers were clean and warm. Great for those late night bathroom runs! There is a outdoor playground and a laundry room with a giant sink as well. Everyone was respectful for the quiet times and cautious when driving in and out of their camping spots. Some mature trees as well as shrubs and saplings as of spring of 2019.
