Outer Banks West / Currituck Sound KOA Holiday Reviews
Great view of the sound! The campsites were not as expected. Very close together. The fire-pit and site next to us grill(we did not have one on our site as described) were right next to our camper so could not use for fear we would light our camper on fire. No glider on site as described. No pool as described on webpage for the “2025 pool grand opening”. Free kayak and paddle board rentals were awesome! The staff were all amazingly friendly (with exception to one older grumpy man) one bathhouse with 4 unisex that were very clean. Plan to use your own camper for toileting.
Jun 17, 2025 · Stephanie RacerVery quiet (stayed Mon-Thurs), good customer service, clean facilities and great staff-Helpful and knowledgeable. Bathhouse was wonderful, well kept. Laundry functioned well and was clean. Propane fill up went as it should. Did not have a chance to try the water taxi or shuttle. It is a ways back to town, so stock up as needed. (The camp store has some stuff, but limited) Overall happy with our stay.
Jun 05, 2025 · Melissa MaertensLovely and clean with views of sunrise and sunset. Level sites. Our 45" fit just fine. Cabin and RV rentals. Playground, bouncing pillow, fishing, cafe, laundry, store, shower house, great dog Park. Friendly staff! Louise is cafe is a doll and Andy was so helpful with an RV question. Loved our week here.
Apr 28, 2025 · Kimber BeckAwesome place! Located in a small island in a remote location. Off the beaten path. Facility has almost everything you need. A local lady sells firewood cheap for the fire pits so we didn't even have to leave the island. Bought cool artwork from her and hit some local yard sales and made some new friends
May 02, 2025 · Brian James SandersWe had a great week there. The staff was very friendly. It was clean and neat. Great for kids with a playground and bounce pad. The store was nice with delicious ice cream. We rented a golf cart because my husband has leg problems and can't walk far. It is a good size rv park. The wifi was not good and the rv lots were kind of tight. We didn't go in the busiest season so that didn't matter much. But I would go back and take my Dish Playmate next time.
