★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had a wonderful experience up at Old Pinery this weekend. The campground was easy to find and meticulously maintained by the volunteers and staff. They were a lot of activities that kept our group laughing near the all weekend. I look forward to an opportunity to return, hopefully sooner rather than later.
August 19 · JasonThis is a beautiful campground. It's nestled in the foothills near Nephi, UT and takes a minute on dirt roads to get there, but it's well worth the drive. It's owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a reservation is needed. It's has running water, flush toilets, and one area has showers. There are fire pits and pavilions available, and the camp directors come and turn on the lights at dusk. It has many activities available, such as archery, volleyball, hatchet throwing, and others, again by reservation as there are many large groups. It's a great place for a family reunion, a group retreat, girls camp, youth conference, or any group. There are incredible views of the nearby mountains and lots of shade trees with great tent sites. You can park a trailer, tent-trailer, or RV, but I don't believe there are hook-ups. I enjoyed my time here and would go again in a heartbeat!
