As a newer, privately owned RV park focused on quality and hospitality, Old Mill Music and RV Park might not always advertise traditional "promotions" in the same way larger chains do. However, their value proposition comes in other forms that can be considered advantageous offers for potential guests.
The primary "offer" is the consistent high quality and value for money that guests receive. Reviewers praise the "new equipment," "beautiful newer campground," and "top-notch hospitality," suggesting that the standard rates provide excellent value for the amenities and experience offered. This commitment to a high-quality experience effectively serves as a continuous offering to all guests.
Potential indirect promotions or value opportunities might include:
Competitive Pricing: Compared to other campgrounds in popular tourist areas, Old Mill Music and RV Park, given its slightly more secluded location, may offer competitive nightly, weekly, or monthly rates that appeal to long-term campers or those seeking more affordable options without sacrificing quality.
Extended Stay Benefits: Many RV parks offer discounted rates for longer stays (e.g., weekly or monthly rates), which could be a significant "promotion" for those planning to stay for an extended period to explore the region.
Seasonal or Off-Peak Rates: While not explicitly stated, campgrounds often adjust rates based on demand. Visiting during the shoulder seasons (e.g., just before or after peak summer/fall foliage) might result in more favorable pricing or better availability, especially if you "choose simplicity" as one reviewer mentioned.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on rates, availability, and any specific seasonal offers, it is highly recommended to contact Old Mill Music and RV Park directly via phone or check their official online presence.

Jul 11, 2024 · Kevin McKennaThis place is a hidden gem! We initially reserved just one night as a place to rest on our way to Antietam/Gettysburg. Just as we arrived, I got really sick with a bad cold/flu with high fever. Needles to say, I was in no shape to hook up/pack up the next day and unable to drive. My wife asked Mike (the owner), if there was any way we could stay at our site an extra night and without hesitation, he said to stay as long as we needed to and went ahead and held our spot for 3 extra days. Long story short, not only is the campground beautiful, very well kept and peaceful, but the owners go out of their way and make you feel like family! On a side note, if you're lucky, you'll get to meet some of the long term residents (great bunch). Rumor has it, the Gettysburg Ghost (Doug) roams the campground and will even have full blown conversations with you! Ha ha ha... we love you Doug. See you all soon! Neal & Sonia
Jul 17, 2024 · Neal BThis was our first trip of the season and we are so happy we chose Old Mill Music and RV Park. I was recommended this place by some camping buddies and it did not disappoint. The host, Mike, was the kindest and most attentive campground owner we’ve met so far. The campground was very clean, very quiet, and in a great location. The creek was clean and clear, and we caught a small trout after a few casts. The spots were very roomy and there was ample parking for our truck and camper and our guest’s vehicle. The brand new bath house was also very, very clean and easily accessible to all campers. And again, I can’t say enough how much we appreciated Mike and his hospitality. We can’t wait to stay again!
May 05, 2024 · Emylee SmithI recently had the pleasure of staying at a the Old Mill Music and RV Park. It is newly a constructed campground ideally situated between Damascus, VA, and Mountain City, TN. While the facility is still undergoing some development, I found my experience to be mostly enjoyable and serene.Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly and accessible campground manager who was always available to assist with any queries or concerns. Their warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for a pleasant stay from the start. The manager's presence provided a sense of security and ensured that any issues were promptly addressed. The campground grounds were well maintained, and it was evident that the management invested time and effort into keeping the area tidy. Lush greenery and beautiful trees provided ample shade, creating a serene atmosphere that was perfect for a camping getaway. The proximity to a scenic creek added an extra element of tranquility to the overall ambiance.Speaking of the creek, it was a delight to have such a natural beauty running behind the campground. The clear water and picturesque surroundings made it an idyllic spot for fishing enthusiasts. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time by the creek, casting my line and immersing myself in the peaceful sounds of nature. While the campground was still in the process of completing its bath houses, the absence of this amenity did not significantly hinder my stay. As a newly constructed facility, it's understandable that some aspects may still be under development. However, I believe that once the bath houses are completed, they will further enhance the overall camping experience. There was minimal road noise from the main road but it was generally not busy during the day and barely any traffic after dark. The creek can be heard from your site in spite of the traffic. The peaceful atmosphere added to the overall charm of the location. In conclusion, despite the ongoing construction and the lack of completed bath houses, my experience at this centrally located campground was overwhelmingly positive. The well-maintained grounds, friendly manager, and the enchanting creek that runs through the site created a serene camping oasis. Once the bath houses are finished, this campground has the potential to become a great destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. I would gladly return to this campground in the future and would recommend it to others seeking a peaceful camping experience. We camped at Old Mill Music and RV Park in a Motorhome.
