Oaks Campground Reviews
I just stayed at this campground over memorial day weekend for the first time. It was very nice, the shower room was nice and clean, and the store was not what I expected it to be. It was awesome set up for a camp store. Many different options to choose from. Upon arrival the ladies in the office were very friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. Thank you for a great stay.
May 28, 2025 · Amanda PlevinskiBeautiful campground. Very, very peaceful. Everyone that worked there was very kind & helpful. I loved my 2 weeks there. My only reason for 4 stars isn't even their fault really. The place is situated around wetlands, and even though the campground itself was beautiful. The mosquitos were horrible. I don't mean just a normal bad, they would swarm you the minute you stepped outside. I sprayed myself, had several tiki torches, and other types of mosquito repellent, and still would have clouds of them everywhere. In the campgrounds defense, it had been very rainy and the area is wetlands, and it's nature. So I get it. Great place with big trees and 2 little ponds, 1 for fishing the other for swimming, even clean shoers/bathrooms, with very nice laundry room. I would stay again, but at a dryer time of year, and be more prepared for the little blood suckers. 😂
Aug 12, 2024 · Denise CramerLoved the atmosphere! The Karaoke was amazing! Live band was awesome! The swimming pond was a little less desirable than the pictures. There was no arcade. And a few of the fishing docks were death traps. Other than the couple hiccups it was a great stay!
Jun 01, 2023 · Jordan ShultzHad a beautiful weekend besides the Jamboree, we had to leave at night due to the unruly crowd however management did an excellent job at keeping it at bay, for that you deserve more than 5 stars. I can imagine the hard work you and the staff went through as I sat and watched quite a bit of what was happening and it was uncalled for no staff member should have been pushed as I see the little blonde get twice. I can fully appreciate the no generators after the 3 young men at faster horses. Even though you may have had a handful of bad reviews please don’t let that get you down. The oaks is an amazing place for families.
Aug 18, 2021 · Tonya LantisI know the owners and my best friend is the manager, this campground is the place you want to go! Family friendly, great activities for kids, and a place I’ve been going to since I was 11. Their fireworks show this past Sunday was nothing short of amazing. I love this place, it’s my second home away from home. 5/5 stars everytime.
