OAKKNOLL RV & CAMPGROUND Reviews
We stayed a few relaxing nights last week and had a really nice time. We had originally booked the tiny micro cabin and once we got there realized it might be a bit to small for us. The manager Jennifer went out of her way to find us a different tiny home and we couldn't have been happier. She really took the time to not only make sure we were comfortable, but did it in a really genuine way. We definitely owe it to her for our relaxation. This place does have full time residents and could probably use a little tlc here and there, but was very peaceful. Great stargazing, tons of bird, and not far to the observatory and parks. Has a little game room as well. Mike the maintenance man also was really helpful and on the job! So glad we could finally make it up there and experience the area.
Jun 25, 2025 · malana porteousOur photo/film crew recently shot on S Grade Rd and was able to use this RV park as a basecamp. Troy and his team were super responsive and very easy to work with. Def would come back here and would recommend doing business with them--probably even camp here on personal time!Their dirt parking lot was spacious enough to accomodate our small crew of 15 people + a 30 ft motorhome. There's a pavilion and bathrooms they offered for us to use (didn't even need a motorhome except for our editor to use as an office). It's also private property so does not need to be included on film/photo permits. But make sure to have some prod insurance to ensure everyone is taken care of just in case! Thanks Troy + team!
May 27, 2025 · Loan ThachWe booked three nights and stayed one. The place was clean & quiet. It was June so it was hot. The new pool was closed by the county due to missing chlorine equipment and since there isn’t much to do around there , we left. Wifi was present but weak. Not many “nomads” staying there (seemed like most people staying there were long term).
Jun 19, 2025 · charlie johnsonThis place is very quiet. We specifically went to camp here because their pool looked so nice. It's about 90⁰ today. Pool was closed and wifi sucked. We paid for 3 days stayed one night and left. 🤷🏽♀️
Jun 19, 2025 · Lianne LishMy family and I went to visit Oakknoll RV & Campground during memorial weekend. This was a very last minute booking. When I called to see what campgrounds they had available, I was treated very warmly by Jenn, the site manager. She was super helpful, answered all my questions, and recommended the retro RV.Jenn is an amazing host! She goes above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We got to extend check out, and my daughter forgot her tablet and Jenn was so kind to safely store it and is going to send it to us by mail! She’s the best!!Check in and check out went smoothly. The kids loved the pool! The fire pits were my favorite! It was a fun campground with a lot of character! We will be coming back again!
