North River Campgrounds Reviews
Full hookup 50 amp service for our 35’ 5th wheel. Off the beaten path but suited our need to be close to Elizabeth City but not too close. Very quiet. Spotless grounds with level spacious sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Permanent sites were clean and quiet as well. I could see it being less quiet in the summer but seems well payed out and managed to handle the crowds. Off season is serene!
Mar 11, 2025 · Ann SchmuckerThe owners Mrs. Beverly and Mr Pat are great people. The campground is well kept and the shower rooms are always so clean. We always meet the best people here. We have been coming for over 10 years and this will always be our quick getaway place.
Apr 20, 2025 · RHONDA TOPPINGJust returned from a FANTASTIC weekend and really enjoyed the "CRAB FEST" which we look forward to each year. This campground is the most well kept one I have seen in over 40 years of camping. The staff goes well beyond seeing you are enjoying the visit. Also enjoy seeing the deer and fawns running around. This is our #1 campground. WELL DONE NORTH RIVER!
Aug 19, 2024 · Al KedzNice campground basically in the middle of nowhere. Clean and well kept, beautiful lake. The property is mainly geared for RVs and Campers but they do have some cottages and motel style rooms. There is a basic restaurant where you can order pizza and other similar items.
