It's hard to describe a lake up in the mountains as beautiful as this one! We were blessed to get a spot right next to the lake and a bathroom. There are bathrooms close to every single camping spot, so you don't need to worry about finding one.The camp caretakers were there every morning to add toilet paper and keep the restrooms clean. The views are truly stunning and camping around and underneath trees is such a beautiful experience. The lake is very deep and cold so I was very surprised to see that there was absolutely no moss on the bottom whatsoever. I used all kinds of fishing lures and never once got snagged up on any moss. There are millions of crawdads in this lake to feed the fish. They are everywhere you look. So the fish seem to be very healthy, no lack of feed, which meant, at least for me, they were extremely hard to catch?! I saw very few people actually catching anything. But there was no shortage of fishermen! - Dana Dribnenki
