Natchez trace state park campground Reviews
Nice riding on the trails that are open. Several had closed signs. Tennessee parks are getting a little pricy for camping.
May 06, 2025 · Tim ScruggsWe love it here! Come back every year! They have upgraded the rv sites with new hook ups. This was our first fall trip and we had a great time. I highly recommend Pin Oak campground!
Oct 23, 2024 · Todd McIntoshAbsolutely love how remote the Pin Oak campground. Plan accordingly if you need internet. You are able to use the guest wifi at the lodge. The bathrooms and shower were immaculate! Camp hosts were quite friendly. Only passing through, but would definitely come again. Beware, some of the back-in spots are small
Dec 05, 2024 · Deb ThompsonThis park offers a wonderful camping experience. Clean areas, great views, clean and air conditioned bath houses, nice laundry room. Washers and dryers are $2.00 a load and are clean and work well. Nice boat slip by center loop down at the lake. If you are looking to unplug and relax, this is your place. There is another loop that has a swimming beach area, playground, and picnic Pavillion with grills conveniently located across from Bath house #2, which also has a/c and laundry room. All sites are fairly level with gravel. Each site has a fire pit, light pole, and grill. There are 2 camp hosts on site, and they both sell firewood for $8 a bundle. There is no wi-fi available, and cell service is spotty. There is a picnic table located at the check-in station, and the station house has a booster pole, and some cell service can be reached from there or down by the lake/boat slip. Rangers do patrol sites regularly as well as camp hosts and are available for help or questions. All dogs must be on a leash at all times, and children under 16 must wear a helmet while riding bikes and scooters. There are 5 primitive cabins available for rent by the lake inlet. They all have window a/c units, 4 bunks, a dresser, ceiling fan with light and a small table and 2 chairs. Outside of each cabin is a picnic table, grill, light pole, and fire pit. Do not miss this gem of a campground. This information is for Pin Oak Campground. Up the road is the Pin Oak Lodge and several other campgrounds.
Oct 31, 2024 · Shari MichaelWe camped at Pin Oak site 58. We did come mid-February, and we were the only ones in our loop. We had no idea what our site looked like as we got in after dark. In the morning, we woke up to the most beautiful view. There was a little stream leading out into the big lake. The playground was just a short walk away, as was the bathhouse/laundry. The frogs found their voices as the weather started to move in, but it was so wonderful to hear. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come to visit family.
