Mt. Hood Village Campground Reviews
We stayed at this campground for two weeks and paid $0 per night as Thousand Trails members. We had campsite 3 and we loved it! The site was in the woods with plenty of shade and we were able to park our camper and cars so we had some privacy. We had full hookup but not all of the campsites are full hookup as some only have water and electric. There is a nice warm pool and indoor hot tub. The amenities also include a game room, exercise room, lounge, and convenience store. We were there over 4th of July and, while the campground was really busy, it was still relatively quiet. There is also a tiny home village which we enjoyed walking through. (July 2025) Happy Vegan Campers
Jul 08, 2025 · KristinThis is one of the better TT we have been to. The proximity is great for skiing, hiking, fishing, etc. the campground is neat, clean, and orderly. The amenities are a nice change with the hot tub, sauna, and fitness center. Do not be fooled by photo on website, however, there is no indoor pool so our kids were a bit disappointed with that.My only criticism is that of the laundry room. And this is in no way reflective on the employees because you can tell they care and work hard to keep the place in order. But this is more of a reflection on the permanent/semi permanent residents. There is an incredible amount of long dog hair in EVERY SINGLE MACHINE. It’s all over the floor as well so if you happen to drop some clothing from the washer like I do every time, your stuff will be covered in someone’s pet hair. I have just chosen to sweep the place every time I do laundry now. No big deal but it is insanely difficult to get the hair out of the washers.Again, I can tell the employees really care about the place and they’re helpful and friendly.
Apr 06, 2025 · Justin WBeautiful campground surrounded by towering moss-covered trees. The gym and hot tub are super nice. Loved hanging out in the lodge. We have Verizon and had 2 bars of signal most of the time. Free WiFi at the lodge. Amazing hiking at the cascade falls trail (about 2.5 miles round trip from our campsite). Learning about the salmon spawning and seeing the underwater look out was really cool. About 25min to mt hood/timberline lodge.
May 19, 2025 · Amanda ChristianWe went tent camping here for Memorial Day weekend. It was beautiful! There were so many flowers and lilacs and rhododendron flowers in bloom, not to mention all the wildflowers. There are laundry services, a fitness center my husband loved, an indoor jacuzzi and outdoor warm pool. The children had a game room as well with a pool table, foozeball, arcade game, ping pong table, etc. There is also a lodge with more to do or just relax and courtyard outside with chairs and a playground. Our camping spot was beautiful. It's connected to hiking trails that could go all the way to the Salmon River and the Wildwood Recreational Area which has bathrooms and an underwater fish viewing area. I hiked 3 miles round trip and the Forest was just gorgeous with all the wildflowers in season. We were not far (30 min) from Trillium Lake so we went there one day and loved it too.I so very recommend this place.
