Mountain View Campground

Campground, Musical club ★4.0

4157 Swallows Creek Rd, Hiawassee, GA 30546, USA

4.0
This was our first time staying at this campground, and we had a lovely experience overall. The owner, Louie, was very kind and welcoming. He even gave us a free sticker, which was such a nice surprise! We love collecting stickers from every campground we visit, and we were planning to buy one—so his gesture really meant a lot to us.We stayed at Site 11, which was very nice and had plenty of shade—perfect for us since we have two small pets. The site was clean and well-maintained, with beautiful mountain views all around. The only downside to our stay was a bit of an uncomfortable moment with the neighboring campers. As soon as we arrived, the couple next to us asked how long we were staying, and their attitude felt a little unwelcoming. It seemed like they weren’t too happy about having neighbors close by. Thankfully, we were only staying for one night, so it didn’t affect us too much.Overall, the campground itself is great—peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. We’d definitely consider coming back, hopefully with friendlier neighbors next time! - DhongDhong Thopten
