Moose River Campground Reviews
Campground is quiet and well maintained. The Moose River is beautiful. Caters to older couples. Grab a site on the river if possible and you will not be disappointed. Mary and Gary are the best hosts!!
Jun 14, 2025 · Bruce AThis was one of our favorite campgrounds of all time, we extended our stay because the area was so beautiful, the campground was quiet and we just felt very comfortable. The campground was decorated for fall, and the owner(?) was constantly mowing and leaf cleanup, a very impressive job as the park has lots of maple trees and, well, it was fall. The nearby dog chapel was such a lovely place for our dog to run and play, there are easy hiking trails where we could let him hike off leash.
Oct 26, 2024 · Valerie GrayWe could not have been more pleased with our stay at Moose River Campground! It’s such a picturesque place fronting the river, which we enjoyed for two weeks. Owners Mary and Gary were some of the friendliest people we have met on our travels. They work tirelessly making sure their campground and their guests are well taken care of. We enjoyed meeting all of the seasonal campers and those who were just passing through. GREAT park and GREAT group of people. We highly recommend to anyone passing through the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont!PS… thank you Mary for making Koda feel like he was part of the campground family!
Aug 03, 2024 · Gregg VandiverIf your looking for a quiet place to relax, this is the place. Try to get a lot on the river, really amazing. Small campground that is immaculately kept. Small fenced in dog area. New to rv camping, but this campground will be hard to beat. If you have kids or like to party loudly, this is not the place to visit. If you like to sit at the river and watch ducks and other birds, listen to your own music without your neighbors drowning you out, this is the place for you. Highly recommend. We will be back here 100%
Jul 05, 2024 · Mike KnappMoose River Campground was very quiet and clean, with friendly staff. Beautiful location, right next to the river. We only stayed one night, but could have easily stayed for several nights. Easy off and on I-91. We like to support small businesses!!
