Mississippi Palisades State Park Campground Reviews
What a great find! If you're looking for a tranquil escape, this campground delivers. It was wonderfully quiet, allowing for true relaxation. I was very impressed by the number and cleanliness of the restrooms and showers, making our stay very comfortable. Having charging spots for the camphouse was incredibly convenient, and the overall cleanliness of the grounds was top-notch. My only word of caution would be to pack plenty of mosquito repellent, as they were definitely out in force.
Jun 08, 2025 · Olga GretsovaBeautiful Park. Really spread out. Trails are nice and a few are very challenging. Not the best campground but the grounds and facilities are very clean and quiet.
Oct 10, 2022 · Bill MurphyNice trails, but they are quite wild at the moment, so be prepared to be climbing over lots of fallen trees and working around a lot of debris. This seems to have been a hard winter for the trees. View from the High Point overlook was fine now, but it felt like when the leaves come in on the trees the view may be quite limited.
Apr 08, 2023 · AARON DeMentBeautiful campground, reservation required, only site 30 to 45 is first come first serve . Big covered pucknic shelter available.
Nov 05, 2023 · Natha BThe camp isn't maintained. The public restrooms are so gross, trees are down everywhere on the trails, trails aren't cut back for hikers. Right next to a railroad that blares a horn late at night.Cheap to camp though. Very dog friendly.
