Minneapolis Northwest KOA Journey Reviews
The bathrooms were very clean, the overall campground was clean and tidy. The roads being gravel have lots of potholes. They were going around shoveling gravel into the low spots but without investing in grading with a blade of some sort filling in those holes are pointless. The water smells of rust and really low pressure. The staff were very friendly and professional. The deck around the pool needs some serious help. All of the area is uneven and kinda throws off someone who is walking around the pool area. There are really cheap chairs around the pool. Overall it was a ok place to stay for a short period of time.
Jul 08, 2025 · john WilsonThis is my home away from home. I've stayed several times and they know my favorite spots in the woods. I've been working on book projects and live space and quiet. Other than the dogs that love to bark at each other, I find great peace here during the weekdays. I will give them a shout out when my book is published this year!
Jun 01, 2025 · Kimber LeeThis KOA Journey is pretty good overall. They could use grading at the entrance and some gravel would make a world of difference. When we reserved no space with full hookups was available. Many full hookup sites sat empty during our stay. We did not use the bathouse so no insight on that front. Easy access to restaurants and shopping from the campground.
Jun 18, 2025 · Glenn SneedNice park but needs to be updated. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Somewhat out of the way but close enough to the cities to be able to enjoy the area. Marshy area so mosquitoes were already noticeable. Enjoyed the birds
Jun 02, 2025 · Conant SowersI called this place up at 5 pm on a weekday. Just looking for a place to pitch 8x8' tent for the night for me and my dog. They wanted $48.00 for a tent. Never again will I go to a money hungry K.O.A. in Corcoran Minnesota. Isn't that what it cost for a 32' R.V. I'm afraid to ask.. guess liver large is for the rich n famous eventually. I will find a nice quiet place down by the river tonight. And sleep just the same.
