Middle Fork Campground Reviews
Stayed here in Mid April. Had tent spot #11. It was the last spot on the lead in road and was very private and scenic. All these tent sites are near the creek. * Bathroom a good walk away, including a small hill. It would be hard to stealth pee in these sites. ** The main road runs right above your tent prepare for road noise. ( Not as much at night of course).*** These tent sites are in the shade until like 1030 am. If you want morning Sun for heat book the electric sites across the creek closest to the bridge. If you like to sleep in or it's summer these tent sites are best. **** Except for sites #1 and #11 you are fairly close to your neighbors. Bathrooms were a permanent structure with 2 usable showers. This campground was very close to both the Gorge underground and Natural Bridge State Park and the trails etc. Overall a nice place to camp.
Apr 20, 2025 · Matthew StullichWe enjoyed our stay at Nature Bridge SP. The campground is a little tight for large campers, just saying.
Apr 27, 2025 · Reginald SmithSites are close together but still feel private. We were able to fit 2 tents, a Canopy, and a small SUV. Our site butted up to a creek which had fish, turtles, and crawdads, we saw people kayaking in there. There are a few more secluded spots on the creek by they are further away from the bathroom. There aw electric hookups but ours was pretty far from the tent but we brought a 50 foot extension cable so it wasn't an issue. We really enjoyed our time here, we were close to all of the trails we wanted to hike and people respected quiet hours, it was a lovely time. No playground but kid was never bored.
Jun 18, 2024 · Vanessa BryantSolid campground, some sites are snug but some are set quite nice. Would like the dump station hose to be regular equipment but otherwise good place. Would return!
Jun 09, 2025 · Rick VanoverThe campground was really nice and quiet. The bathrooms and showers were clean. You may need extra leveling blocks because the sites have a slope. Be mindful of the site size versus the size of your camper. I would recommend this campground and look forward to returning.
