Meadows of Dan Campground & Cabins Reviews
This is such a cute and clean campground. We had a tent site for one night and absolutely loved it! They had very nice bathrooms and showers. This is a very peaceful and secluded place, definitely recommend! If you stay here make sure to visit the Poor Farmers Market and grab sweet treat! Along with the Concord Corner Store and Primitive Coffee shop!
Jun 27, 2024 · Riley HaleWe were in an RV, the campground was nearly empty and we had a fantastic view of the meadows. Very peaceful well spaced out site with helpful staff. We loved seeing the fireflies right outside our RV at night. Would recommend it, one of our best spots so far after 3 months on the road.
Jun 06, 2024 · Andrew CockinStayed for a couple of weeks while visiting the area in my RV. Absolutely the best RV park experience I have ever had. Great attractions close by, excellent management that genuinely care, and the setting and sunsets are amazing. This is a must visit if you're looking for a place to set up and explore a beautiful area or simply relax and take in nature. Was there during the rath of Hurricane Helene which blasted and destroyed parts of the surounding area, these managers were completely on top of communicating and making sure we were OK. No power or water for a few days, (we planned ahead and had our tanks full and generator on standby if needed, simple to do in an RV) but no one else had it either and they constantly checked in and updated us as they got information.I would give them 100 stars if I could!
Oct 13, 2024 · Ron MeeksStayed here twice now in the last 5 months. Absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing and very helpful.
Mar 14, 2025 · Albert KidwellMy mom taught me that if you can't say anything good about someone, then don't say anything at all!!!We were running away from the main path of the Helene storm, when we finally found this place that we had booked days ahead of time, it was dark-thirty with no one in sight... only a 5x7 piece of paper on the office door scribbled with "no water or electric"! We booked on-line so they had to of had our phone # and email... not a peep from!! I am sorry, but how uncurtious and unprofessional to leave people stranded without notice! I was in business for over 42+ years and not once did I ever treat my clients in such a low profile. Shame, shame. And here is the best part... do you think I'll ever receive a refund!?!😄😄😁 Shame, shame, shame!!! 100 fold for Meadows of Dan.
