Meadow Creek Campground

Unnamed Road, Meadow Bridge, WV 25976, USA

4.0
Another one of America’s great hidden gem free campgrounds. Off the beaten path, this spot has vaulted bathrooms, fire rings and BBQs at each site, and a bonus rushing river you could swim in if you wanted or collect non-potable water from. We went for a walk next to the train tracks that run alongside the grounds. 2 trains came thru during the night. They may have been loud, but we couldn’t hear anything over the torrential lightning and rain storm we encountered. It was wet, windy, and quite fun to sleep in (dry thankfully). - Zach Frank
