An off the beaten path campground that is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet. There is over 100 acres of rolling hills with multi use trails all over. The shower at this campground is better than any shower I have used at a hotel /motel /or typical campground, hands down. The only regret I have about staying here is that I didn't have more time.
Apr 23, 2024 · ColinWe stayed July 23rd-28th, and we had a great time! Pam is awesome, as is her husband, and Lonnie and Shari (hope I spelled her name right). Pam brought us fishing poles for the kids, small swimming pools for the kids to cool off in. We even got to take home a couple of souvenirs! (Thank you, Pam!)This isn't a loud, noisy Campground, and we loved it because of that. Nature at its finest. Went to sleep under a blanket of stars, beautiful mountains, and a big bullfrog, and woke up to a 🐓 far off. It was amazing! Even the storm wasn't as frightening, and Pam came around the next morning to see that we were alright. This Campground is a 5!!! And Pam and her family made our vacation unforgettable. We will definitely be going back again.Again, Thank you, Pam, and all!,
Jul 05, 2023 · Dena HodgeMy family and I camped at Pams farm for 6 days. We really enjoyed our stay there. First off Pam is awesome and an amazing host and her humble and loving character is very hard to come across. We traveled with my wife’s cousin who was traveling with her goats and Pam went out of her way to help and keep the goats in a fenced in area. The farm has a beautiful view if you go on the trail that circles the property and you can catch a beautiful sunset. Our camping spot had water and electricity. Pam also let us borrow a pool for the children to enjoy. She also let us use some extra chairs.Based on the previous reviews I read here, people can be very harsh not really knowing the back story of the vision they have with their property. If you’re looking for a high end top of the line camping site this is not the place for you. This is for humble people who want to enjoy camping, fishing, and horseback riding. And lastly, the attention Pam provides makes up for whatever else is lacking, and when you think about it and visit this place, you have everything you need. People need to humble themselves and think that they are “above” what a hardworking humble farm owner has to offer. We loved our stay and we loved the service that was provided to us.Thank you Pam and your husband for allowing us to stay at your farm. My family and I will definitely be visiting again in the future. May God continue to bless you and your vision. Shalom (peace) and love.
Jun 28, 2020 · Jeffrey DiazGreat place to rest. $10 for tent site and conversion vans. Got to pet the llamas, horses, and a cat too. They got goats there too. Horseback riding is only $25 for a ride. Really nice place and friendly people too.
Jun 27, 2019 · Suzanne WiedlI am graciously giving this place one star because the owner was so very friendly and obliging...but that is the only positive about this place. Before arriving, I specifically asked if there was a very private, shady place for a primitive campsite - that we were trying to get away from humanity - and I was told yes. I then also inquired about whether or not there was a bathhouse and I was told yes. When we arrived, everything we saw looked very run-down & overgrown, but we waited for Pam to meet us and still held out hope that maybe "this" was not the actual campground. Wrong. Pam directed us to a few open spots right across from all the travel trailers - hardly private. So we reminded her that we were trying to get away from people, not be in the thick of everything. She then took us to the lower end of the property and allowed us to set up our tent near one of the small ponds. So, kind of private (all the campers could look down upon us), but definitely not shady. Oh well. We were okay with that. The thing that really was the nail in the coffin for us was when we later walked around to where we were shown the bathhouse upon arrival...it was an old trailer that they used to live in (it looks ancient from the outside). Looks were nothing, however, when we discovered from one of the 'tenant' campers that someone LIVED in that trailer! It was un-airconditioned, filthy and luckily the occupant was not home when we walked in. Remember, I specifically asked about a bathhouse...this was a trailer she was renting to someone! We were not happy about this already, but the other info we received from the "tenant' camper was that packs of coyotes visit the place every morning around 5am...and we were sitting ducks away from everyone else down below at the pond in a tent with a small child. We certainly felt that the owner should have informed us of these facts prior to us making a decision to stay that night...because we would not have. As it was, we ended up leaving and spending the night in a hotel.I totally agree with the other person who wrote a review and stated that the photos on the web site have to be from a long time ago. The place looks nothing like that - everything is broken, overgrown and just plain unkempt. I, also, own horses and mentioned to my spouse that the place was by NO means set up for people traveling with horses, as the web site claims. Had I been traveling with my horses I would have been mortified to pull up there expecting to spend the night. But, then, I guess, I was mortified anyway that anyone dared to call this place a campground. I hate leaving a negative review, but people need to be warned to stay clear of this place...especially horse people and tent campers.
