Mari Osa Delta Campground Reviews
We have visited more than 100 camps and this one is in the bottom 5. Could be the worst camp in the country. Difficult to maneuver in, narrow gate and steep hills. Right on the river, but couldn't really see it through the thicket, steep embankment made going down to the river unsafe. 30 amp breaker popped and fizzled, so we had to use 50 amp. We could barely open the electric box because the water hook up was in the way. Freeway noise was really loud. When checking in owners told us multiple times check out was 11 am. Then called multiple times in the morning freaking out because we hadn't left yet. We left at 9:30 am, so not sure why they were throwing a fit. Kids playground equipment was weak. Avoid this place at all possible.
May 11, 2018 · Chris Bloomfield1st of all, I would definitely go back. The location is great. Their hospitality couldn't have been better. I rated it a 4 only because online it says there is a bait shop, and it no longer exists. I want to give a 5 star but 4 because there is no in between. If I had not seen that online, I would have had no expectation and gave a 5 star.
Nov 09, 2024 · Shawn MansellNice quiet place next to the river, except for the highway noise. Not too many parking spots, only a couple of pull throughs. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return here.
May 07, 2018 · Lanell HooverWe lived here when we first began fulltime RV living. Beautiful setting, there has been a campground at this site where the Maries and Osage rivers meet for over a hundred years, perhaps before that. It has changed hands since we lived here but the current owner continues the legacy amidst the natural beauty of God's creation.
Oct 06, 2024 · Les BaltyNice little campground on the Osage River. Nice view of where the Marie's meets the Osage . Very clean bathrooms and shower house.
