Aug 29, 2023 · Desiree JoinerBEWARE. As of 2024 Most sites are now Reserve Only. The Rangers don't even know how it all works . I wanted to stay one more night. I called Supposedly Texas, sounded like New Deli, and reserved for one night. I asked for" The next night Monday" The girl made it for Thursday because of reasons I figured out putting 3 stories together. I had a bit of guilt about the mix up. When I called to change it I was told the site is not reserveable even though I just reserved it.. There's signs that say reserved or open. If it say open it's NOT you have to go to camp host IF they have one. The left hand don't know what the right is doing. The Dems screwed up camping. Thank you B.As for the campground AWESOME. Bathrooms are clean. Rangers friendly. Great campground's. To bad I'll NEVER do National Forest campgrounds again. We never reserve because you NEVER know the weather. BTW TICKS are thick as heck. Pulled 5 off dog and meny others on us.
