★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great place to find flakes and pickers. Great beginner panning area. Usually busy seasonally, area attracts tourists... Little bumpy on the way in but worth it to explore. The creek has been dug at for many decades , hard to get on the gold. Tailings scattered amongst the creek. Fun overall would highly recommend.
May 23 · Clay NelsonOur first time there and it was fun . Dry, but fun. They have a lot of restrictions, no wheelbarrows, sluices, vacuum's, or anything else that makes life easier lol , just picks shovels, pans and screens allowed basically. We found some flakes , and seen some great scenery n wildlife . In May it was cold at night and warm in the day, seemed strange for the desert lol, but we didn't complain, it was great !
May 25 · MrJackson66The creek was dry when we went ( MemorialDay). Still played around anyway. Saw a Arizona Black Rattlesnake so be careful. Still was fun, Need to go earlier in the year. Will visit again.
May 26 · Johnny QuinnettStream is very low, not much water and lots of holes where people have dug before. Plants and shrubs over grown, so watch your step. Trails are obvious, map of area is hard to read. But over all. Its a great place to try your hand at gold panning.
March 06 · A CharleyI built a dam here and if someone destroys it don't be surprised when you wake up in the middle of nowhere in Navajo county surrounded by skin walkers, anyways very nice creek there were also crawdads👍
