Louisville South KOA Holiday Reviews
We stayed here for a meeting in Louisville, so it was convenient. The staff was fantastic. It was nice to get cookies upon our arrival (perfect after a long day of driving!). There was a nice playground and pool and it looked like a lot of activities for kids (including a little train ride). We did not use the bathroom or laundry facilities, so can't comment on them. Overall it seemed like a nice campground. Our only disappointment was how close the sites were to each other. Our RV has slide outs on both sides and it took a few tries to be able to get in position where we could open them and not hit our neighbors (the picnic table and fire pits were across the road because there wasn't enough room on the actual site).
Jun 24, 2025 · sandy pellegrineThis is such a great KOA! We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was very well appointed and so clean! They’ve got a ton of fun activities for the kiddos (movie night, barrel rides, arts and crafts, jump pad, awesome playground etc), and the staff is so nice (especially Houston… give that man a raise!). It’s very close to all the best attractions, and the highways are easily accessible. We didn’t get to utilize this because we stayed in a cabin and not our camper, but some sites have private dog pens for your pups to run and play. I loved this idea. Highly recommend.
May 28, 2025 · Brittany MordarskiWe absolutely loved our stay at Louisville South KOA! This place had everything for our kids—huge playground, zipline, life-size checkers and chess—it was a dream for little adventurers. With three kids under six, hiking the whole park isn’t exactly realistic, but renting a golf cart made it easy to explore all the amazing nature spots (highly recommend!).The grounds were beautiful, everything was so clean and well maintained, and you can really tell the staff takes pride in keeping it that way.And the people—wow. We were greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies, and every single team member we encountered—from the front desk to the groundskeepers—was the picture of hospitality. You made us feel so welcome and taken care of.I genuinely wish we could stay here our whole trip. Thank you for creating such a fun, family-friendly, and heartwarming place to land. We’ll be back!
Jun 07, 2025 · Marsha MoralesThere were so many activities for the kids! The barrel train ride is great! We even were able to rent a golf cart for a day. Between that and the pool, the kids were entertained all weekend. The staff couldn’t be more friendly. Can’t wait to be back for a weekend in October to do the haunted trail.
