Longleaf Piney Resort Reviews
Super cute and cozy!! Great use of space for a small place. Loved the extras- opportunity to purchase items with logo, free bicycles to ride, random Sasquatch figure standing next to our fire pit, full sized fridge/freezer, paved bike path, American Flag display. Felt right at home. Peaceful. Surrounded by nature. Short drive to town.
Jun 24, 2025 · Brandi CuevasMom found this trail in her online travels, and she's always wanted to stay in a tiny house, so we started making plans. It was so convenient with thr trail right there, and it was so quiet. The beds were quite comfortable, but I couldn't help feeling like a little kid starting my decent from the loft on my back side. 🤣 I'm proud of myself for only hitting my head once. The place filled up our last night, but all was quiet when it got dark. Plenty of dead & down wood to burn in the fire pit, and we enjoyed our s'mores with the cool and dry weather. We were so lucky! Just a couple of little things (ha!), but the shower curtain needed a good cleaning, and a large bowl would have been nice. Being the gourmets we are 😜, we brought the mini waffle maker and had a leisurely breakfast one morning, but it was a little hard mixing up a batch in a cereal bowl. Definitely worth the 400 mi trip to make some good memories.
Apr 17, 2025 · C WMy husband and I just got home after a quick weekend getaway and I can’t rave on this place enough. It was perfect. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere even though you’re close to town. Everything felt so private. We stayed in “The Tin” and it was precious. My husband sat on the front porch for hours just relaxing. We rented the golf cart and spent the whole day in downtown Hattiesburg and had so much fun. Perfect weekend and we can’t wait to go back!
Apr 06, 2025 · Jenniffer BooneThis was my husband and I first visit to the resort! Sean was very friendly, accommodating and service exceptional! Our house was the Roadhouse! We absolutely loved the location of the house as well as the nature sights! I would highly recommend this resort to anyone for the friendly service, and the cleanliness of the houses. They have everything you need from cooking, watching tv and grilling out with a fabulous ambiance!! Thank you so much Sean!! We will be back!
Apr 07, 2025 · Katrina HullThe Hideaway is a peaceful, cozy cabin in the woods next to a pond. The cabin is exceptionally clean, and the back porch with a swing and rocking chairs is relaxing. The fire pit is great for making smores. Although the cabin feels secluded, it is only 10-15 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, health care facilities, etc. Sean, the owner, ensured everything was perfect for our arrival. Highly recommend staying here!
