What is worth choosing
Choosing Log Cabin Resort-Campground for your next Washington State getaway is choosing an experience defined by tranquility, natural beauty, and a touch of nostalgia. The unparalleled location on Lake Crescent offers a front-row seat to some of the most stunning landscapes in the Pacific Northwest. While the campground’s design, which reflects its 1960s origins, means that some RV spots can be tight to maneuver, especially with modern, larger vehicles, this is a minor logistical challenge that pales in comparison to the rewards of the stay. Visitors consistently state that the brief anxiety of "pull-in and pull-out day" is a small price to pay for the peaceful stay that follows. The key to a seamless experience is to be mindful of your vehicle's size and, if possible, book a spot larger than what you think you need. The peaceful and soothing sounds of nature, coupled with the serene lake views and the comforting amenities like the on-site store and restaurant, create a truly unique and memorable vibe. The campground's ability to transport you to a "simpler time" while providing essential services makes it a standout choice. It is a perfect little lake getaway that has captured the hearts of many, and despite any minor inconveniences, it is a place people repeatedly choose to return to for its raw, unfiltered beauty and calming atmosphere. From the calm-appearing water (for which life vests are highly recommended due to the lake’s freezing temperatures) to the perfect camping spots, every element contributes to an unforgettable outdoor adventure.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is for the RV camp ground only as I have never stayed in the cabins but do camp here every year. I Love , love, LOVE this place but it’s important to understand and align your expectations before you stay . It is really , REALLY important to know that this camp ground was made in the 60s and quite possibly has not been renovated since then . As a result the spots are built to accommodate trucks and trailers from that era. Thus leaving limited spacing for today’s double axel RVs and duramax trucks that are today’s must haves. The campground is jam packed and back to back. Some spots labeled as a 25 feet but so difficult to maneuver into you need a much smaller trailer to wiggle in. If you are wanting to stay here , which believe me it is worth the stay just know you can get anxiety during pull in and pull out day. But once in your spot the stay, the view, the cute store and restaurant are all worth it. There is a vibe in the air reminding you of a simpler time and picturesque views 360 degrees around you. Don’t let the lake fool you. The freezing temperatures and calm appearing water has taken the lives of many and should not be underestimated. Life vests are highly recommended even on the warmest days. But nothing , absolutely nothing matches the quiet and soothing sounds of nature. Size up your spot requirements . If you have a 20 Rv , ask for a 25 foot spot . If you have a 25 , ask for a 30. You won’t regret it .
May 27 · heather NorbisrathBeautiful campground. It has everything you would want camping by a lake. The road going to the Lodge is a littlenarrow for a class a motorhome, but just be mindful. The only part I had was where the garbage cans were, a huge dumpster I could not reach unless climbing on. We will return because it was perfect little lake getaway.
June 08 · Penny BiallyAwful cabin. Stayed in an A frame chalet right on the water for almost $300. Dirty, spider webs, ants, broken blinds, beds that slope downward at the head, crooked doors with gaps, dirty bathroom grout and more.
June 23 · Happy CamperBeautiful setting. RV sites too vlose together. Nice to have poser n water. Shud have sewer for price. Nice restaurant n gift shop.
July 05 · Steven ChatmanSTUNNING campsite! I just needed a last minute overnight stop, so only spent around 12 hours here but wish I had more time!! The views were stunning and I so badly wanted to go out on the lake! They’ve got a boat rental place right near the site that I wanted to use. I will be back when I have a chance to stay longer
