This is our second year camping. You have to book way in advanced or get super lucky last minute. I booked our June spots on New Year’s Day lol this time we stayed on site 701, right up against the sea wall. The view was great. It is a 2 car sight, so we pulled our truck and trailer, and our friend have a large SUV they parked on our site and used their large tent. We still had plenty of room for our grill/ table set up and the fire pit set up. Super close to the store, and the beach. Our kids are insane and wanted to actually get wet at the beach but fair warning it’s freezing, but to sit on the beach and relax is great. We don’t fish but we enjoyed watching everyone else do their thing. Sites come with a fire pit and a picnic table. The there was a water connection not far from us maybe 3 sites over , and a shareable one within walking distance. We did not stay in the hook ups sites. But they have maybe 10 I think. There are grass sites but you’re not as close to the water, however the walk through the dunes is beautiful. The bathrooms are gross so be warned. The bathrooms are Porta potties and I couldn’t figure out the cleaning schedule because they were always gross. The store has just about everything you might need, ice, coffee, plates, first aid, kites, clothes toys etc even fishing gearThis is also a very dog friendly, most people keeps their dogs in their leashes but a lot let their dogs free. I saw no bad dog interactions the entire weekend. They have posts with doggy waste bags at almost every porta potty spot. Dogs are allowed on the beach. - Chelsea Lee
