Land-O-Pines Family Campground Inc. Reviews
This is our place to go as a family. We love coming here. We got a little paint spot on the pick nick table last year while we were painting rocks (me and my son) and every time we come we look for it and look back at those memories. We always head to the cafe Du Monde and get coffee and beignets the morning we wake up and spend the day fishing, looking for bugs, painting rocks, roasting marshmallows and doing crafts. We love how everything is conveniently placed to be close enough to things we need but far enough to feel like camping. Definitely a place to come and raise your kids. There can be middle of the night noise issues but they are cracking down and enforcing the curfew. The staff has always felt like family and we really like that. If you aren’t about the big overcrowded campgrounds this is a good place to be. We love our little camp place.
Mar 22, 2025 · Meghan HelmIf you are looking for a campground that has nice shade, this is it. That is about all you get here tho. We used to love going to LOP. The creek is a nice asset however the pool is not so much. They nickel and dime you to death. Very high nightly rates ESPECIALLY on holidays and they do NOT tell you that the water slide is an extra $16-20 PER day, PER person so that adds up for a 3day weekend for a family of 4. NOT to mention they also charge you for extra people to enter to visit even if they are not using the pool or amenities. How about the park is at full capacity and they open it up to the public to come in and pay a daily rate also while not sleeping and they fill up the entire pool area with their out side grills and ice chests and dont get me started on Marijuana stench. So I could have paid for one day to use the amenities vs pulling a camper and being forced to pay a 3nt or 4night minimum for a holiday. MAKES NO SENCE!!! Sorry, not sorry but we won't be back!
Jun 03, 2025 · charnelle curtisCabins and campers are older. Can use some maintenance on cabins and roofs/covers. Kids freaked out over spiders, however, it is camping. Overall, had a great time with my family.
Jun 02, 2025 · Samantha CharpentierWe absolutely LOVE everything about this campground. The staff is amazing, especially Dustin, who is so kind and helpful. We live in and are natives from Chattanooga, Tennessee and have been to LOP twice, but are now making this place our tradition for the 4th of July. Worth the 8 hour trip! The waterslide, Bingo, golf cart parade, corn hole tournament, pool, animals, playgrounds…all make it so much fun! We even brought some TN friends last year with us who can’t wait to go back too. The best are the local Lousianians!!! They are like kinfolk but with cooler accents and amazing food! We can’t wait to see everyone there each year for years to come!
Mar 31, 2025 · Christina AtchleyThis was our third anniversary heading to land O Pines, and our first during the summer! We played bingo, went to the Pool And waterslide, and made use of the private beach and stream in the back!
