Lake View City Camp Crescent Reviews
The campground patrons are nice but the staff isn’t, I paid in full for a month 744 dollars and had a lady come beat on my door and accuse me of staying without paying. I work 10-14 hours a day and luckily got a day off and she came to do this and didn’t apologize just asked if I’d like to renew the stay and continue to be there. I had 6 days left on my stay and decided to leave after this and was told I would get nothing back as they need 72 hours before leaving the park. Really disappointed with the treatment from the staff with the other people were so very nice and I had a lot of help from other campers and even fish and food but the staff was overall terrible. Wouldn’t recommend for the overcharge as well as the treatment. Also if you do stay check the parking lot it was full of screws and other sharp objects my camp site led to a flat tire
Jun 06, 2025 · Kris BrinkWe stayed here a couple of times back in 2021. Once over Labor Day weekend & then later at the beginning of October.Of course, when we stayed over Labor Day, it was busy & packed. We were lucky enough to get a spot, but it wasn't the best spot. It was on the very end with not a lot of room. Our next spot we got in October was on a cement pad with plenty of space.Overall, it's a very nice campground and it's our number one choice when visiting family in the area.
Aug 11, 2023 · Adventures with BC"This nice park around a lake in a small, cozy town in Iowa is a gem. It's perfect for kids with lots of space to run around and play. The place is super clean and well-maintained, making it a lovely spot for families. The serene lake adds to the charm, providing a peaceful backdrop for picnics or just relaxing. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this park is a wonderful place to enjoy some quality time outdoors."
Jul 29, 2024 · Ivan MedranoThis place is great. Grass sites are the best, near beach, playground, volleyball, and mini golf. City park very close and very big with splash pad, basketball, and large playground with hamster wheel! Nice beach with actual sand, not rocks!
Jul 17, 2021 · JennerJ21We met Nancy and everyone was so nice there… It is a beautiful place… The lake is wonderful and it is just a short walk to town along the beautiful Lake shore.
