This campground is a childhood favorite and has continued improving over many years. I do wish they had more site sewage but not a big deal. The staff is great and even brought our passes to us at our site…caught a Blue Gill off the dock with a nice fat worm! Since then another Blue Gill and a Small Mouth Bass have been shared with me by the Lake. I returned all of them to the Lake. Fifty years of memories at this jewel of Topeka, Kansas. Learned to water ski here, did Winter camping even in a foot of snow, and many other great times! - Richard Skinner
