Lake Reidsville Park Reviews
I did enjoy myself. Both me and my son had a wonderful time. Now, what I thought was a bit rude was how boaters were driving close to the bank while I and others were fishing. I feel like that can be addressed and handled better. When I went inside the office and asked the woman several questions, ex. The rentals they said not anymore (why is it still on your site?) I asked about the fishing (got more of a round about answer than a direct one)
Jun 07, 2025 · matthew strongI love areidsville lake. But the city of reidsville is actually who you pay when you pay at the lake house. If you cancel it will take them over a month to get your money back to you. Bad business. The city of Reidsville in 2025 needs to be better with the financial side of life. Dont forget if you owe them money and don't pay they will come after you
Jun 07, 2025 · J EaglesI’ve been going here most of my life, very nice lake and picnic areas, not to mention the fields for children’s ball games.
May 23, 2025 · Pam GrahamWHY CALL THE COPS ON ONE OF UR CAMPERS?? No crime had happened……..We will NEVER COME BACK HERE! NO ONE COMMUNICATES AT THIS PLACE!!!‼️PLEASE READ WHOLE REVIEW‼️I came back to edit this review!!AFTER I POSTED THIS REVIEW (before we left the campground) Donna approached my husband coming outta the bath house and ask wasn’t we leaving this evening (not yet even 5:30pm) and he said yes my wife told you (and I did but she was counting change and on the computer, this morning and not really paying me attention) we would leave when I got off work, and she said also she just wanted to chk on us bc the maintenance man EDDIE IS THE ONE WHO CALLED THE COPS OUT HERE, but they never came back to my camper) ‼️After saying they couldn’t take anymore reservations not even nightly they allowed a camper in then today they let another one‼️There’s two camp host in the campground, Donna is one and so is Kimberly (very sweet lady, Donna is too)! We live in our 18ft Rockwood camper (temporarily) with our 2 boys. We came to this campground to stay here for a couple months. When we arrived they told us, they’re getting ready to start renovating the campsite and couldn’t take monthly reservations so we paid for a week and then day by day (talked to Amanda). We called others but all were booked so after talking to Donna she allowed us to stay til Dec7th (but no one ever told us a date we had to leave by) I called the office (talked to CC) dec 7th (Saturday) and she said we was suppose to leave that day but was fine to stay and pay on Monday. Well the maintenance man EDDIE, (and that’s all he is) came Sunday and told us we had to have our camper moved that day. VERY RUDE MAN!! He’s even hateful to the camp host here! We’re freaking out cause we can’t move the camper til Monday bc of no where to go til then. The other camp host told me to go talk to Donna Monday morning at 8:00 (I was there at 7:50am) talked to her told her we wld be moving this afternoon, she said ok! No problem. I’ve been sick so after taking my kids to school I came back and went to sleep. Woke up to a man (didn’t kno who at the time) beating on the door but he left before I could wake up open the door. My husband called Eddie and he said the cops was waiting on us and that’s who was knocking on my door! WHY??? WHY ARE THE COPS KNOCKING ON MY DOOR AT A CAMPGROUND?? Haven’t committed no crimes whatsoever!!Camping spots are so uneven (but they’re asphalting the camp spots to make them even.)I’d make sure this was ur absolute LAST PLACE TO STAY IF YOU HAD TO STAY SOMEWHERE. Now the campers that are her can stay til march cause they’re paid up, 9/10 campers here and what’s our little one gonna hurt being here. Nothing!! Oh also the bathroom mirror shattered all over my 5yo and 10yo when he was wiping off the mirror in the bathhouse, after taking a shower with his dad, the metal old clips wasn’t screwed in all the way! This could’ve easily killed my sons! DO BETTER REIDSVILLE LAKE!!!
Dec 10, 2024 · danyale freedleNice place to visit. Quiet and relaxing. Plenty of fish and the campground is very clean and gives you plenty of room between sites. This is a place if you need a get away and a peaceful nature setting don't miss out going here. Even if you aren't staying to camp. It could be a nice afternoon trip or a all day picnic kind-of trip just to have the relaxing sounds of nature to decompress.
