Lake Nimrod Campgrounds Reviews
Used the dump station here in the off season and wasn’t charged. Campground empty but open. Camp hosts were very friendly and keeping the place clean. From the campground you can also enjoy the day use areas near the river and walk across the dam which is very interesting.
Apr 18, 2025 · Nikki Rohde (OutThisDoor)Camped there many time throughout my elementary, junior high years and a few times with wife and kids after I got married. I’ve got ALOT of good memories there!! I didn’t take many pics when we went for a drive to nimrod but they’ve made a lot of improvements over the years. Multiple playgrounds throughout the many campgrounds. Lots of good fishing once the lake gets back up after they’ve drained it. Some sites are primitive some have electric and there are some camper sites that accommodate campers. Happy camping 😊
Aug 05, 2024 · Scott MaddingWe love this campground. Lots of full shade or partial. Tents have no problem but motor homes need lots of leveling in some spots. On site folks are super great. Easy access to the lake.
Oct 27, 2017 · Carrie MathisNice clean campground, picnic areas overlooking the dam, great walking areas and fishing as well as restrooms.
Mar 19, 2025 · R. R.Well kept! Our site had a water pump, a picnic table, and another small table that was great for prepping food. The bathrooms were also quite clean for a campground. Hoping to return!
