Lake Eaton Campground

Silver Springs, FL 34488, USA

4.0
Enjoyable camping experience. The spots are pretty large and ours had two picnic tables as well as a fire pit. There is a drop toilet in the middle of the campground and only a handful of spots so you don’t have a large group of people out there. No hook ups but bear proof trash/recycle bins. We did have an issue with ticks this time of year otherwise it was truly pleasant. Our neighboring campers were extremely loud all through out the night but that’s not necessarily the campgrounds problem. We did have a little bit of a struggle figuring out how to get back to the campground/site. There were several hiking options close by which we enjoyed (trails not well maintained). Seems most people were out there to fish or take dirt bikes/four wheelers out. - Kris Johnson
