Lake Arthur Family Campground Reviews
What a wonderful little family campground this is... I took the wife and kids here for an overnight camping trip and although the campsites aren't as private as I typically like everything else here was amazing! They had a local winery come in the evening for sales and tastings and warm doughnuts in the morning. The ownership/employees here are incredibly caring, accommodating, and friendly. The other campground residents all seemed to be having a wonderful time and they were all very friendly to me and my family. The tent sites were conveniently located across from the playground and children spent the majority of their time there having an amazing time. I can't say enough good things about this little family campground. I hope to return in the near future. Thanks for an amazing weekend!
May 11, 2025 · Robert S2nd year staying at Lake Arthur and we LOVE it. Look forward to it every year! Chris and his whole family are wonderful people and make your stay enjoyable! We will be back next year for jeep fest!
Jun 17, 2025 · Shannon MarieI give 8 out of 10 total. All employees get a 10. They were all so nice. Campsite gets an 8. Only gripe I have is that my fire pit was closer to the next campsite that my own. Bath house was bad...2 0f 10. Only two toilets for all men and overall very dirty. Went in at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and there was fisces all over the toilet seats. Was still there the next day. I literally took bathroom cleaner, rubber gloves, and paper towels and cleaned it myself so I could use the restroom.
May 28, 2025 · Sam WVUNothing for kids to do except a small park. Place was nice until new manager took over. If he likes you your in if he doesn't your out.
May 05, 2025 · Gina WagnerThis campground was very peaceful, and relaxing. My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend with two other friends for Bantam weekend, and it's safe to say we will be there again for future trips. First of all, Chris is super friendly, personable, accommodating, and knowledgeable. If there's a problem he fixes it within the hour. He actually transferred us to a better site that was well shaded, and away from the front entrance traffic. And we definitely loved our site! The bathroom/bath houses were kept very clean, and the camp shop is well stocked, and has books and movies available. The neighbors we were around were very polite, and respectful of the quiet hours. Also, we really loved the makeshift ice cream truck, and that the men running it, took the time to stop at every site to ask of anyone wanted ice cream. In addition, our campsite for the weekend was very affordable, and the add-ons for electric, water, and fire wood was reasonably priced. 11/10 would recommend. I look forward to staying again.
