Neighboring cabins and homes are visible from the northern loop of this campground, but the southern loop offers a slightly more rustic experience.Amenities include a hand pump for drinking water and several vault toilets. Electricity will be coming to a portion of sites here in the near future. A nice swimming beach, shelter and picnic area are just a short walk from the campground.This is one of - if not the only - campground in the Chequamegon Nicolet with actual designated flat tent pads framed by wood. Not all but many sites here have them, and it's certainly a nice amenity for tent campers.

Sep 24, 2023 · Pat HansonIi like this Campground.sites are wooded and fairly easy to back into. You can buy wood nearby but there's plenty of wood laying on the ground. There is a boat launch but it's not maintained and you can't launch large or heavy boats cause it's to shallow. They're are lauches you can drive to nearby. I had to leave 2 days early and the office in eagle River said no refunds don't pay more than 2 or 3 days at a time. The forest service are useless and out to lunch. All in all I would go back to camp here.
