Kritters Campground Reviews
We stayed at the Kritters Campground during Memorial Day weekend. What a wonderful getaway for relaxation, exploration, and a chance to get the side by side out. To start, the campground was beautifully decorated, from the laundry room to the beautiful pavilion which offers games, TV, a bar area, and screens to keep bugs away, to even the bathrooms were very nice and clean. They offered lots of activities for the whole family. The owners were friendly and helpful. They have a store in the front for extra convenience. My one complaint, and the only reason this wasn’t a full 5 stars. Was the sites facing each other. So when you walk out your camper door, you’re greeted with another family right there essentially sharing a site. Not the worst thing, and would be PERFECT for people coming as groups. But sometimes you don’t want to feel obligated into mixing with the neighbors. There is no separation between the sites. Did tend to make things a bit uncomfortable. Thankfully, we had good neighbors. But overall I do recommend this campground highly, just go in knowing the sites are facing each other (besides a couple).
May 28, 2025 · Nate OlsonWe loved everything about this quiet, cute little campground. It is a small family owned campground & they truly go above and beyond. You can tell how loved this place is by the decor, the cleanliness and how willing the staff is to get you anything you need. Everything is centrally located and very easy to walk to. We truly felt like home here and this will be our new favorite spot.
Jun 17, 2025 · Kelsey CoonJust got home after spending 7 days at this campground. From the time you check in you feel welcome. The owners are kind, friendly, and was helpful finding us a dog sitter, thank you. The sites are big. Bathrooms and showers, always clean. A LARGE playing area for the kids. And our biggest buyers point was how centrally located this place to, well, everything.Make sure you check out zellars restaurant in town. And the bear farmThis place has everything you could ask for. Thanks guys
Jun 28, 2025 · Mark SpencerThe cabins here are amazing! Very clean and cozy. Has it's own wifi, there was a binder with restaurants and things to do around the area, & the cookies were yummy! The main bathrooms were always clean and has a nice playground. The owners are really nice & friendly. The only weird thing to me was the budding campsites. My parents have a 5th wheel & a little strange to walk out and see the people right next to you. Wasn't a problem for us, but wanted to add it to the review. I would definitely recommend this campground!
Jun 17, 2025 · Laura MWe have been traveling in a rented RV for 3 weeks and was by far the best campground we have stayed. Very clean tidy and so well presented. Friendly welcome and wonderful showers etc. didn't take pictures sorry. Loved this place.
