Korn's Shawangunk Kill Campground Reviews
This place is great given the price and location! I just needed a primitive, non-electric tent site for one night in the area, and everything I found was astoundingly overpriced. $83 to set up a tent at a campground is absolutely ridiculous. I paid $28.50 for a tent site here and was able to easily make reservations online via the reserve America website. Had an easy check in process when arriving. Had to pay cash for firewood which wasn't an issue, but FYI- any purchases made by card have a $5 fee charged. There was only one other person staying at a tent site nearby which was surprising given it was a Saturday in June.I'd definitely go back when in the area! Only issue is the check-in window, and i'm unsure what happens after hours. 7pm is the check-in cut off and I always arrive to places much later. This day I was able to arrive much earlier, but I'd hope they'd be able to accommodate a later arrival if a site was already paid for. 7pm during the summer is extremely early.
Jun 10, 2025 · Adrienne VHad a great time here. They are so accommodating. We arrived and before we even paid for our site, we were invited for a FREE full hot buffet meal. Absolutely delicious! So welcome after a long travel. The owner was so friendly and such a sweetheart. Campground is clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back.
