Knife Island Campground Reviews
We stayed at site#4 with full hookups. This is a quiet, well-maintained, beautiful campground. Just a hop, skip, and jump into town. Very nice and clean shower house on site. There is coin operated laundry ( they have quarters in the office for exchange if you forgot yours!)The camp host was extremely helpful, polite, and pleasant. There are snacks, frozen treats, some camper necessities, and other miscellaneous items for sale in the camp office. Ice and firewood were reasonable and they delivered it right to your site!About a 25ish min drive into Duluth so still close enough to enjoy all the things Duluth has to offer.
Jun 30, 2025 · Alissa BensoThis place was so amazing. Would 10/10 recommend. The host that greeted us was so nice and super helpful. The campground was clean and peaceful. You can go fishing because the lake is right there. The spots had a good amount of space between them. We got a space for our rv and the hook ups were super easy to access. The campground had a great amount of space to walk our dogs and go then to run around by our space. We will be back.
Jun 03, 2025 · Yazil MendozaGreat campground to relax and recharge. We rented a campsite for a couple nights, 30a power and water hook up. Campground is very well kept, clean shower rooms with flushable toilets. The staff will deliver wood or ice if needed to your campsite.
May 27, 2025 · Dave FA wonderful campground- very clean and very well maintained. There is a variety of sizes of campsites in amongst the trees - our pull thru site was perfect for our camper that has a slide out. The fishing holes are picturesque and varied and the canoe/kayak launch was easy to use. The showers are hot and the water pressure great. I would suggest you bring a longer hose and electrical cord for the hookups as the water and electric are not close to the camper pad on all the campsites. We definitely will return to this campground.
Jun 27, 2025 · Susan ThompsonWe usually camp at State or National Park campgrounds, so we were a little skeptical about camping at a private campground. We were so pleasantly surprised. The campsites were beautiful and private and nature was all around. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Many things to do in the greater area. Jay Cooke State Park was beautiful and the hiking well worth the trip. We are returning next year of our annual family reunion camping trip. I would highly recommend.
