Klamath Falls KOA Journey Reviews
Very clean campsite. The bathrooms are a little dated but they're clean. Staff was very friendly and the office area is very nice. We had grass for our campground and that was really nice. A little too close to the propane tank that dispense propane for its customers. That's kind of smelly. Great place.
Jun 03, 2025 · Marjorie Marshall-WatersMy wife and I were greeted by hostess Nayelli. She is one of the most positive people that I have ever met. She was attentive and provided great service. Great job, Nayelli! The campground provided everything that we needed to make our overnight stay enjoyable. I would also like to commend the young man doing the landscaping at the facility. He was enjoyable to talk to and I praised him for keeping the campground in great condition.I would not hesitate to stay here again.
May 17, 2025 · Trent TeesdaleStayed in the deluxe cabin for 4 nights. Upon arrival, was pleased with the cabin. It was cute that they have complimentary snacks, water, and keurig coffee pods. The room is nice and they even had the ac on for us upon arrival. However, we were a family that was staying for multiple nights and when we took the trash out and needed a new bag for the trashcan, the blonde lady gave my 11 year old son an attitude and told him that they didn’t provide supplies. I’m sorry, but we only used 2 trashbags the entire time. To give my son grief about it and say we need to pay for them is ridiculous. Who brings extra trashbags to a deluxe cabin? Then to top it off, the kids accidentally packed one of the pillows when we left and they called to say it would be a $35 extra charge (for an old, yellow, and gross $5 pillow). We always bring our own pillows, so unfortunately one of them thought it was ours to begin with. I get charging for a new one, but $35 is ridiculous. In addition, my mom had an RV site for the entire stay as well and had booked a deluxe paw pad site (with shade), but then called to request to be near the cabins since my brother was staying in one and we were staying in another. They moved her site without informing her that she would no longer have a paw pen for her 2 dogs and that she would be in the direct sun without any trees. When we asked for her to be moved back, they wouldn’t do anything about it. Next time, we will just rent an Airbnb cabin for the same price we all spent. My family spent well over $1500 to stay for 4 nights in a place that wouldn’t even unlock the Gaga ball and ladder-ball equipment. Was told “it will be opened tomorrow” but then it wasn’t.This KOA won’t receive any more of our money. It’s too bad since it’s at a halfway point to meet up with my mom.I suggest getting a cabin or RV site at Lake of the Woods if you have a family and want to go “glamping”… that place was beautiful and friendly!
Jun 29, 2025 · Alexandria McDanielNice KOA in Klamath Falls. Some of the sites are a little small but they good use of the available property. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice amenities. Clean pool, essentials are available in the store. They even has gas, diesel and propane onsite at a decent price. Probably the cleanest laundry facility we've experienced in a campground. Quiet time was observed and there wasn't much traffic noise. All in all a pretty decent campground.
Jun 20, 2025 · Terry ChampionRestrooms are locked and they gave me the wrong code and caused a major situation during the night when the office was closed. Had to unhook and drag trailer all around town at 4 am and will keep the rest of that story private. We also awoke to find some event in progress with large groups of people gathered around my trailer in the spot we were in. When I expressed my unhappiness about all this, office lady just shrugged like she could care less and it was all my fault. I then said I was going to post a bad review and she said no problem, go ahead. From me to you, save your $80 and stay in a rest stop. This place has nothing to offer but rudeness and inconvenience. BEWARE!!!
