Kings Mountain Campground Reviews
We went to Kings Mountain State Park for a picnic with the dogs on a Fall day. There is a campground there. I've stayed at the campground several times in the past. It's beautiful there. There is a playground for the kids. The restrooms are clean and stocked with toilet tissue. Lots of picnic tables in different settings.
Nov 14, 2023 · Alice H.This is just a small State Park that's really just a campground and small trails adjacent to the National State Park just down the road. Some campsites are better than others if your planing on bringing a camper so definitely look at the site picture before booking to make sure it'll work for your equipment. The bathhouse is clean, with plenty of warm water. It has a playground as well.Overall it's a nice place to camp and enjoy nature and the fresh air
Feb 18, 2025 · Allie JulianWe just camped here for the first time recently and we had a great time.
Apr 08, 2025 · Robert HeussyThe site was great. Available was very weak, and my Verizon hot spot was too weak as well. Verizon phones also very weak. Probably expected since the campground is so deep in the woods.
May 18, 2025 · stacy whitselPretty decent campgrounds but I do wish that the sites were spaced out a bit more for those tent camping or RV camping.Sites were clean and good selection of goods at the camp store.Bathrooms were decent, but the shower curtains were pretty moldy. The campgrounds do allow for dogs so be aware.
