For Louisiana residents and workers needing an affordable, flexible, and exceptionally welcoming place to stay in the Lake Charles area, Kershaw's Cajun Village is a standout option. More than just a simple campground, this location functions as a community-focused RV park that caters significantly to long-term stays—ideal for those working in the area or needing temporary residency. The park’s identity is intrinsically linked to its owner, Rodney, whose involvement, helpfulness, and genuine care for his guests and the surrounding community are consistently cited as the main reasons customers "Love it here."

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Love it here. It's affordable and the people here are very welcoming. The owner, Rodney, is very helpful, nice, and an all out great person. He is very involved in the community, and he cares about the needs of the people that stay here. He has fabulous plans going on right now of improving the camp. He has full hook ups in many spots, and he is expanding so he can offer more. He is building a pavilion to have live music or other types of gatherings. He is also in the process of building restrooms. You would do yourself a favor by staying here. Kershaw's Village offers you to be able to stay long term if you are here working or whatever your situation. If you like nature, it's all around you out here and has a nice trail to hike around on. Yet, the camp is walking distance, or jogging, to Walmart, restaurants, and shopping centers.Day rates are affordable. Give Rodney a call. You'll be glad you did.
December 04 · Melinda MoseQuiet until theres a band playing on a weekend and then you can forget getting any sleep. Too crowded! Too many spaces way too close together. U barely have room to park your car between the space your camper sits between the camper in front of you.
February 19 · Tanya KlevenDescent campground thats nice and quite. You can get cable and wifi. Residents are very friendly. No other amenities. It would be better if they had a laundry room on site but there's a nice one less than a mile away. They really need a pool/playground that would make this 5 stars rating.
July 08 · Ashley MillerThis is a very NEAT place. He has alot of old equipment u can look at. There's a old lawn mower race track.t son got to ride his jeep around it. He also gave us a key to his shop so we could lock his jeep up. The WiFi isn't hooked up rite now but the location is awesome. It's so close to a good shipping center and food places!!
February 28 · Amanda LaShay Davis Shay ShayGreat location within city limits. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and medical services. Electric, water, trash wifi and expanded basic cable included. Grounds are being updated, laundry facilities are under constuction.
