Kamiah / Clearwater River KOA Journey Reviews
Our Cousins have been holding bi-annual reunions for over 40 years at RV parks in Idaho and held 3 ('15, '17 & '19) here and skipped '21 & 23, but came back this year because of location and quality. My planning was mainly by phone and e-mails and Kristie and her staff always answered promptly and answered all questions. They made great improvements to the PowWow room which we have always used (has a kitchen) (no charge). When I arrived Thursday, 6/26, Kristie asked my Last name and then said "Hi Herb, do you want to be down with Bob (cousin) or up closer to the Powwow room" ... It's like she knew everyone of us by name ... and I saw her out and about with other RVers making sure they were comfortable. RV amenities (water, Power, sewer beast to access. Super impressed. Our group plans on being back in "27.

Jun 22, 2025 · Terrie AlvertoI wish I could give more than 5 stars. We had a huge family reunion here and we all were blown away. The rooms were clean and they kept them clean all week long for us. Everything we needed the staff was very fast to make it happen.I drove 35 hours to get there and I am ready to go back again. I have never had service this good ever. Trust me I asked a lot and they happily did what we needed. They brought us extra bed, tables, bbqs blankets. The owner even let me use her hose from her own house. The camp ground is beautiful and well kept. Everything worked properly.I really want to thank the staff so much for helping make our family reunion perfect. We even invited them to our last nights dinner party! #awesome
Jul 24, 2024 · James GriggsBeautiful place but the campground managers are very rude and unaccommodating. Our first night my wife and i enjoyed the hot showers after camping for 2 weeks. That was amazing until shockingly The lady that manages the place, Barged into the men's bathroom and banged on the shower door yelling i was taking to long of a shower. Not only was that rude and disturbing, but highly violative! But it honestly started from the beginning..The day we moved in for a months stay, the people next to us had a dog that bit me and drew major blood when i was setting up. i asked the lady managing the place to please do SOMETHING and she ultimately did nothing. Beautiful place and location but absolutely HORRIBLE management!I've always had a great KOA experience but this one was a very horrible experience,
