Jumbo Rocks Campground Reviews
Awesome campsite! I love the fact all/if not most campsites come with a grill, table, and fire pit. The campsite is less than 5 minutes from Skull rock and easy to find. Only critique is campsite size, they are pretty small but I can only judge from my campsite (96) 👍
Jun 26, 2025 · johnathan rodriguezThe scenery of distant mountains and rocks makes for a beautiful painting like background. Amazing sunsets and gorgeous milkyway skies that is barely tainted by any light pollution. If you are lucky, there might be a thunderstorm off in the distance or even the occasional orange orb UFO that zooms by in the distant night sky.
Jul 07, 2025 · ChivalChris1Wonderful place to camp! Some sites are much better than others. Take a good look before selecting. Some are small with not even enough space for a tent and some are next to other sites. The best ones are sheltered by rock faces and have vegetation for seclusion.
May 25, 2025 · Taufiq HabibThis place is amazing. I am tempted to downgrade to 4 stars because there is no power or water there, but the place is so amazing it is still 5 stars in my book! Great views, great campsites with plenty of parking, fire pits & bbq grills at each site. Fairly secluded, pcturesque, great hiking trails, star gazing... what more could you want for a desert campground.
Apr 29, 2025 · Ryan ShermanCombine an outdoor experience with an art exhibit and playground, and you get this phenomenal camp site! We will absolutely return! You just want to climb all over the place! Some of the campsites are very small, essentially on the main road, but some have very large spaces away from the main road. Check the location of the campsite before you just reserve any campsite number.Be aware:🐺 There is wildlife in the campsite. We had a coyote visitor early in the morning, but it kept to itself. There's signs for tortoises and snakes. Lots of cool little lizards and plant life.🚱 Bring all the water you will need - there's no running water at the camps, and the bathrooms often have bees.🤳There's no phone signal, so I recommend having the HazAdapt safety app on your phone so that you know how to handle emergencies out there.
