Jenny Lake Campground Introduce
For those of us in Wyoming, the Grand Teton National Park is more than just a place; it's a part of our identity. And within this majestic park, Jenny Lake Campground stands out as a true gem. As a reviewer enthusiastically stated, it's their "favorite campground in Grand Teton!" This small, tents-only campground provides a serene and authentic outdoor experience that is increasingly hard to find. It's the perfect spot for those who want to truly immerse themselves in the raw beauty of the Tetons without the noise of RV generators. Located just steps from the stunning Jenny Lake, it offers a peaceful and friendly atmosphere that makes every stay feel like a special, personal connection with nature.
Jenny Lake Campground is ideally located on Teton Park Road in Moose, Wyoming, placing it right at the heart of Grand Teton National Park's most popular area. Its "great location to Jenny lake" is a consistent highlight for visitors. The campground is within walking distance of the lake's eastern shore, providing immediate access to scenic views, the Jenny Lake Visitor Center, and a variety of trailheads. Being separate from the day-use area, as a reviewer pointed out, ensures that the campground maintains a quiet and private atmosphere, even during the busiest seasons. Its central location also makes it a convenient base for exploring other parts of the park, including Jackson Hole and Colter Bay, while providing a peaceful sanctuary to return to each evening.
Jenny Lake Campground is a meticulously planned and well-serviced site that provides essential amenities while preserving the natural environment.

Grilling: Each site comes with a fire pit that has a metal fire grate, making it easy to cook meals over an open fire and enjoy the classic camping experience.
Camping fee: There is a fee for camping, which is considered a great value for the prime location and amenities provided. The fee goes toward the upkeep of the campground and helps support the national park.

What truly sets Jenny Lake Campground apart are its unique features and highlights, which create a memorable and highly sought-after camping experience.

Breathtaking views: The campground is situated at the base of the Teton Range, with views of Teewinot Mountain and Cascade Canyon. A reviewer praised the "amazing views," and another said you can "stake your tent under the Tetons" and enjoy "Teton sunsets."
Proximity to hiking: With a variety of trails beginning right at the campground, it's a paradise for hikers. From easy, "kid-friendly hikes" to challenging backcountry adventures, there's something for every level of hiker. You can walk to the Jenny Lake ferry, which provides access to trails leading to Inspiration Point and Hidden Falls, as well as the rest of Cascade Canyon, without needing to use your car.

July 18 · Joshua ThurmanGreat small campground, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, awesome location, quiet at night, friendly neighbors, saw a bear in the morning, amazing views, showers (9 min for $5, to be purchased at office) one of these campgrounds you wish you could stay longer. Tents only, so no annoying generators at night, etc. Only downside is the relatively small spots.
July 05 · Iris van 't ErveSuper awesome campground in one of America’s greatest national parks! I stayed here for 4 nights a few years back with my family and had a fantastic time. The hiking here is stellar, location is super picturesque, and the wildlife is amazing. One of the days the rangers let us know that a grizzly bear and her cubs were coming through, and they walked right through our campsite! It was a super cool experience, if a bit nerve wracking. I would 100% stay here again if I could get a reservation.
October 24 · Ben EldienOne of the best campgrounds I've ever stayed in! Lots of space and privacy in between campsites. Only one bathroom and two showers for the whole campground. Host was incredibly helpful. Saw a mule deer in our site and countless chipmunks. Bear country and each campsite is equipped with a bear box.We did the 16 mile hike up and back to solitude lake and were quite thankful our campground was so close. Would highly recommend if doing any Jenny Lake hikes!
August 12 · Lindsey MastThis is probably the best campground we have ever stayed in at a National Park. The privacy between campsites is great. Its tent only which is also a nice perk. They have clean bathrooms and have showers. This is the best campground! Joe and Jenny (the hosts) treated us like family! They were so helpful. We will definitely be back!
