Jellystone Park™ Pennsylvania Wilds Reviews
Dates of stay: 5/22-5/26/25.Location: Pennsylvania House.Person(s): 2 adults, 1 child.Cabin: Cabin was clean and comfortable. A space heater was provided but we brought our own. The upstairs loft really in my opinion is sized for children, not adults. Parking is a little tight depending on the position of your cabin, but manageable. Enjoyed fires at the fire pit.Location: Quietly tucked away up a hill. The views were pretty. RV sites, campsites, cabins, ect are all close together. Expect no privacy. Everyone seemed to abide by the "quiet hours" of 11 pm to 8 am, which I appreciated.Amenities/Staff: Staff was super helpful and friendly. Garbage pickup right from your cabin was a huge bonus. Unfortunately, not all the amenities listed were available during our stay. Some had to do with the rainy weather (which is not an issue) but other things, were not. Also, the amenities (like the carousel and trains) appeared to be a bit run down BUT there did also appear to be some refurbishing happening. The pool was unfortunately broken. The pillow jump was only available at certain times, I believe only twice during our stay. Enjoyed the events for children. Majority were free, some crafts cost an additional price.Overall if you want a really low key vacation spot, I'd recommend this location.
May 27, 2025 · T StokesGreat campground close to Mansfield University. Cozy Cottage was nice, clean and plenty of room for the whole family. Close to bathroom too. Grounds are nice and definitely are doing some upgrades which is nice to see. Great staff!! I had a tree fall on cabin around 4:45am called after hours number and manger came right up. He apologized and secured tree till 8am. Came back with chain saw and cut up tree. Even gave my son a maul to break it up for fire wood. Manger is awesome and handle it professionally. Defiantly will be back during MU football season bc cabins are nicer than hotels!
Apr 20, 2025 · Sunshine ConyerWe come here every year and have a great time, however this year we booked a 3 night stay and left after 2 nights. There were no activities for our children going on. The majority of the playground area's where taken town. The jumping pillows were broken. The pool was green. Most of the scheduled activities cost money. I'm not sure if new owners took over or what but we where told our 5 yr old wasn't allowed to ride his strider bike, we were also told he wasn't allowed to ride his 16v battery plastic atv however there were people all over on side by side's and sxs. The carousel was not running and looked dilapidated, the train did not run either. This trip was not kid friendly whatsoever. We will probably never return which is unfortunate because we use to love it here. I feel like I was robbed of my money for the services.
May 24, 2025 · Heather VanderpoolWe currently rented out holiday house 2 for a few days before Easter. We are not glamping here, but everything in cabin works great. With electric and running water, a/c and heat etc. Altho take note online still shows an oven inside so I had prepared all casserole meals. Found out when I arrived that was not the case and there is only a gas stove. So had to change up meal ideas but we made it work and noone went hungry. Staff and everyone in park are all very helpful and wonderful. Maintenance is great and will address everything that may need fixing if they are aware. They will deliver your fire wood right to camp site. Just when i didnt think I would, a few hikes up and down the hill i decided to rent a golf cart. That was worth its weight in gold. The kids loved the bounce pillow. I even got on and had a blast with them. We mined for precious gems and pirates treasures. 😉 Maintenance got the train back up and running for the campers when it had a minor mechanical problem. He worked on it to keep it going and keep everyone happy. This is a great family campground with amazing staff that really try to make your stay the best they can. From the store workers, to the bingo girls, to the cleaning staff, to the train conductor, to the Maintenance staff and everyone inbetween, they really are running wild all the days dealing with everything so people have a great experience. Give them credit each time you can, they are all doing an amazing job and trying their best to keep the campers happy. So be nice to them. ❣️
Apr 19, 2025 · R RWhile recently staying at yogi bear, I have a few comments. This place is NOTHING like it was a few years back. Bucktail was the place to be during the summer. The only thing for children to do at this time was the jumping pillow & a small playground. The grass was unkept, as well as the rest of the grounds. Not a single activity was done by yogi bear staff during our stay. My 3 year old cousin wanted to meet yogi bear-that didn’t happen. What happened to the train? Mini golf? Carousel? Big swings? Ball pit? Large play ground? Batting cages? The original owners of bucktail would be extremely disappointed.** all staff that my family encountered were generous & helpful.
