Jellystone Park™ Golden Valley Reviews
My family and I had purchased day passes several time to Camp Jellystone, but we booked a stay for my son’s birthday and he had a blast. We rent a Sycamore Loft cabin which was perfect for 3 and bring our dogs was no problem. They even found us the prime cabin location for us for the stay. We asked to be as secluded as possible and they put us in a section with very few people and wonderful areas to walk our dogs. I can’t say enough about the cleanliness, how great the staff is and the variety of activities. We are already planning our next visit!
Jul 02, 2025 · Amanda LeighMy grandkids were so excited over every activity they participated in! The lake , the pool, the jump pads! So much fun! The accommodations were perfect and we had so much fun on the golf carts. Everyone was friendly! Other guests shared how long they had been visiting (years!) We are trying to fit another visit in this summer and hope it works out!
Jul 02, 2025 · Katheryn OlsonWhat a fantastic family resort getaway spot!!! Not sure I've ever stayed at a better RV / Camping resort for families. They have great lodging (particularly recommend their cabins) options including RV, camping, small treetop cabins, large hillside cabins, etc. They have terrific amenities including pool, swimming lake, games, golf carts (rent), restaurant, store, laundry, and much more! There is a recently added alpine coaster just across the street, which was great too!Recommend either booking far in advance if you plan to stay 3+ nights, or you can book last minute for 1-2 nights only. Highly recommend renting a golf cart to get around, the property is quite large and there's lots to explore. If you aren't in an RV or tent camping, be sure to bring your own bedding and food, but the kitchens in the cabins have plates, cookware, coffee makers. The lots vary greatly depending on what part of the property you're staying in, so take your time and choose the view, the spot, or the privacy you want. This is very much a FAMILY zone, so kids are everywhere and yours will be very welcome. They'll have so much fun!
Jun 30, 2025 · Andrew PattesonWhere to begin. Booked trip here a month ahead. Gave us a tent site you had to walk up 25 steps or hill. The issue I have is with golf carts. They are everywhere. Not obeying speed limit. Running through stop signs. Honking horns continuously. Experienced 2 times where carts gather in middle of road and refused to move to allow vehicles to pass. They designed most streets that only gold carts can use, not enough space for 2 vehicles to pass. So your somewhat forced to rent the expensive daily carts. They don't allow you to bring your own cart. Overall, for the children is what great. Pool area is only 3 ft deep. The lake is good. But not much for adults to do. This was our first time here and not sure if coming back. We have plans on visiting other campgrounds this year. Everybody has their own opinion and I'm sharing mine. Who knows, you may have a great time, maybe not. Will update when/if Jellystone replies
Jun 25, 2025 · AnthonyThis was our second Jellystone park. My family loved everything about it. The cabin and the park were very clean, there were always activities and the food was great! Most of the staff were helpful. There were a few instances the older women working at the ranger station were a little short with us. Kinda felt like they were really unhappy about being there. That was our only negative. Everyone else was cheerful and wonderful. Though none of the staff knew anything about the wet&wild tile scavenger hunt which was a little disappointing because we were having trouble finding 2 of the tiles in the park and if we asked any staff about it, no one knew what we were talking about. We would definitely book again.
