Jado Park Campground Reviews
Super chill campground. We tent camp so we had a beautiful spot on top of a hill perfect for when we got a bit of rain our first night. They have a nice play area with soccer goals and a basketball hoop. Our kids spent most of their time rolling down the hills though! While they don't have a pool or swimming spot Vineyard County Park is 10min away and has a nice green beach area with water deep enough to play in but no big drops where you'll have to worry about small kids, they also have free life vests to borrow! Dogs are allowed and you can even fish and BBQ (there are grills and picnic tables). JaDo is the perfect spot to just rest and recharge without all the chaos of a KOA or other fancier places. Showers are good and bathrooms are clean. Our family is going to be back several times I'm sure. 🙂
Jun 21, 2024 · Natalie GonzalesI would never consider camping here.. The staff is so rude especially the lady that works at the front desk. We came to pick up a golf cart that we were buying. we were treated like common criminals, and given an interrogation as to why we were there and what we were doing. The lady at the front desk even told us we were lying that there was not no golf cart for sale instead of her being polite And asking questions to get somewhere she just was extremely rude. I understand that they can’t just let anybody in the campground, but even though I said the owners were coming down, who camp there She even called over Security. I think they are letting their little desk jobs get to their head.

Sep 14, 2023 · Pete LahrWell first off I been going toJa fo for years ! They been there 25 years & that’s how long I been going , took my kids there , it’s just gorgeous ! Little piece of heaven ! We recently stayed there coming back to mi ( I’m from mi ) all my life Jerry lamb & Terri lambert ) and had the nicest relaxing time , met great neighbors joe / Debbie which will be camping where we are at now , bc we had to go bc of booking for races and fastest horse festival, we will always come back , the squirrels and the deer. & the owners couldn’t be more sweeter 😞Kay thank you and your husband for your hospitality, your campground is beautiful! Not loud and you sleep like a baby , I’d give 200 stars if I could ! Thank you again & see you again soon ! Thank you for everything! Great job you guys ! Highly recommend this place !
Jul 14, 2023 · Terri LambertIt's a really nice set up, great place for kids to enjoy different activities, but the owner is really rude. For being a family oriented place, the owner sure needs to learn some people skills! My wife and I were there visiting friends with our daughter and we were leaving to go buy water. The owner went off on us for driving when we shouldn't have. We didn't know what was going on. But he spoke to us like we were criminals. The only reason he didn't get cussed out or worse was out of respect for our friends that have the yearly campsite.
