Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA Holiday Reviews
It’s great doing business with a business that values their customers, and this KOA has gone above and beyond.Even before we arrived Kat called to let us know that we inadvertently double booked. We cleared that up on the phone & continued our journey.Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted & went through the basics of staying at the campground. It’s our first time at this one & they have a lot of nice amenities. She then proceeded to the site assignment, which we booked a back in 50amp…and realizing that we had a slightly larger setup with tow vehicle & camper, she set us up with a longer pull through site that we could leave connected! And as most of you know, after a long day of driving, this is music to your ears. And finally, after taking a nice walk around the campground, we really found it to be inviting & quiet. We’ll absolutely add this campground to our favorites list & are super happy we found it!Keep up the great work!!!
May 29, 2025 · Nina AIThis KOA captures the whole outdoors experience pretty well. We stayed here total of 2 months. The staff is always active and very involved with its KOA community. I do like how they can send out mass text messages to update everyone on things going on around the park or even friendly reminders. The site seemed managed pretty well. The laundry room however, was so far the most expensive laundromat we've been to yet. Their bathrooms are very cleaning and modern. One of the bathrooms however was under renovation. We always felt we were met with respect at the front desk when dealing with them. The location is kind of rural and there's mainly gas stations around this area. Walmart was only 10 minute drive however. this location is about 35-40 minutes to the beach. About 35-40 minutes away from Jacksonville. The price for monthly rates is decent. There are pros and cons about this place without getting into any specific details there was a situation in which we realized that the staff has a heart for the less fortunate. And another situation in which my wife and I had gone for breakfast and if your monthly camper breakfast is more expensive which we were confused with. The majority of the staff here is very helpful the main manager even went so far as to help us with details and rolling our son into school. Fairly quiet but there is always something going on at the pool which has a nice water slide that our son absolutely enjoyed.
May 28, 2025 · Jeremiah TankersleyNote to all those ADA: This pool is not ADA compliant so don't count on it. After learning this as steps in were extremely deep for ADA, We requested a refund to leave early and we're told corporate KOA won't allow it. I contacted corporate and they said to speak to the management. So with that in mind, they want to bounce that back and forth. I could have easily turned them in to DOJ but decided to just give you the warning here. If you plan on a week with your grandson and family to enjoy the pool together, forget here. As far as the rest of the park, it is dated and can use some upgrades but the restroom was clean and lawn mowed. Shame I had to loose money here in my stay but have to move on somewhere compliant.
Jun 08, 2025 · Pam GallatinI stayed for a few months. I wish the free breakfast was included but not for folks staying a month or more.I did like the nice big pool and the layout of the park. However, we had to move spots . Which was only a little better, cause everything it rained, the park would flood. And, I mean FLOOD!I thought they were rather expensive. You have to pay for electric plus your lot rent, which is pretty high. It's well water...and they charge more per kilowatt then the electric company.. which that kinda upset me when I found out.Overall, we were paying almost $1200 for a small RV lot.Other then the swimming pool and a bathhouse there really isn't any other amenities. They do have a miniature golf course however the green is completely tore up and it's not been updated. The have a club house but it was shut down a lot cause the roof was leaking. They had a couch u can sit down on and read and I think a TV.Internet at that time was so bad.. it was down more then up.. however, I heard the made improvements to this.In general, I thought it was just okay but would go back more then a weekend.
Mar 23, 2025 · MelissaHave now stayed at this campground two years in a row on our return trip from Florida to Ontario. This is one of our favourite KOAs. Friendly and helpful staff. Well laid out park that is close to I-95. Terrific amenities including a pool with a water slide, mini-putt golf course, tether ball court, games room, well-stocked store, restaurant room for meals or have food delivered to your site, and much more. First year we stayed at the park, a bad storm forced us to stay for another night and the park staff easily accommodated us.
