Jacks Creek Horse Camp

Tererro, NM 87573, USA

4.0
Jack's Creek Horse Camp is a good place to stay with your horses if you want to ride in the Pecos wilderness. The best thing about this campsite was the camp host, Laura. She kept things spotless. The big horse water trough was always clean and full. The pit toilets were spotless and that's hard for me to say because those things scare me to death.. They're usually pretty filthy. the Corrals were unacceptable but this is not unusual for a forest service Campground. They were at least 10 inches deep in muck and mud partly because of the rain and partly because of some of the slobs that have been there before us and don't clean up after their horses. But they did let us put up a hot wire for a horses so that made everything great. We would definitely return to Jack's Creek - Jo L
