Indian Valley Campground And Canoe Livery Reviews
We stayed in one of the rustic cabin at the end by the bathroom/showers. Cabin is nice with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, Ac & heaters. You do have to bring you own bedding & cookware. The mini golf course is small. Kayaking was great. If not camping by the water there is only one area that is open for anyone to get to the water. There is a pond by the playground with a sandy area. Only issue was one of the women shower had a motion sensor light that turned off after a minute.
Jun 26, 2025 · Michelle RennerThe front desk ladies were very nice and informative about the area and activities. Downfall is tight spaces, we kept having to move vehicles so other campers could park their campers which was fine but also kinda a pain especially if we weren't there and had our vehicles hit. I figure the sites near us were tent only due to the tight quarters.. Also no spot to turn around if launching a boat you'd have to back up down a path of 25yrds or so and no parking for a trailer unless at your campsite. View was beautiful and was peaceful for the most part. Bathrooms were very clean and showers were nice and warm. Huge playground for the kiddos which was awesome and a small pond near by to look at critters. They also have a indoor pool but didn't make it to it looked nice! Tubing down the river isn't ideal I'd say due to the lack of current. Had a lot of people say they kept having to get off and walk the river or kept getting stuck in spots. Not from shallow water but just lack of current flow. I'd rate a 8.7/10 definitely a cool campground to stay at and make some memories!
Jun 17, 2025 · KenzyThe campground is a pretty decent campground. Most lots I have seen and used have a concrete pad. All have fire rings in designated spots. You're allowed 2 vehicles per site. Visitors have to pay $5 for parking and there is also a designated spot for that. The bathhouse in the back of the campground is very spacious. Several stalls and 4 shower rooms (at least for the women's side). Can't say for sure in the men's. I haven't ventured into the laundry room part, as I used Middleville Laundromat or the one over in Wayland. The store/office is spacious compared to most I have seen with a wide variety of items. They have mini golf, basketball hoop, rec center with activities throughout the summer, an indoor pool (deposit for entry required), playground area, pond, and the river right down the way for fishing. It's very well maintained, the owners and workers are definitely on top of keeping the grounds clean and all amenities working. They close the entrance after 11 pm. If you need to enter from 11 pm to 6 am, they have remotes available with a $10 returnable deposit when it is brought back to the office. Overall it's not a bad little campground, the price is very decent, and the people are pretty laid back.
Jun 01, 2025 · Amanda MillerVery quiet except for grounds people that were constantly cutting grass and leaf blowing while we were outside trying to relax. Turns are tight if you have a large rv like us (40 feet). The speedbump before the spikes when you exit is a little overkill as it's not hard to puncture your tire when you are leaving if you don't drive over it fast enough. Especially with a dually truck! Having the river in the campground is wonderful!
Jun 06, 2025 · Ramona SmithGreat vibes, fun karaoke nights on Saturdays, a fun 9 holes of mini golf, a well-stocked general store, and I brought my own inner tube and could repeat a half-hour float down the river for free as often as I liked.
