Indian Pass Campground Reviews
We will be back! Out of all the campgrounds in the area this is the only one that gives you the feel of being close to nature while being at the beach. Our first stop was the office to grab our map and parking tag. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They made it feel like we were long distance friends and they had been waiting for us. The told us about the park and how to get to our lot. Told us the best fishing and swimming spots. The office itself was nice and clean and offered amenities you may have forgotten at the store along with souvenirs. They also had bait if you plan to fish and trust me you want to fish. There is opportunity to catch anything from catfish, mullet, flounder, red and trout. Pulling into the park I noticed each lot provides tons of shade with a variety of trees. Our lot was clean and flat perfect for our tents. Each lot offers power, water, picnic table and fire pit. We had a lot with water view and the views were breathtaking. As far as wildlife we saw a few manatees swim through, the dolphins came through several times to feed and play. Our lot was home to some beautiful woodpeckers, and squirrels. We spent our day sitting by the water and just enjoying the beauty around us. When we needed a break from the sun a short walk to our shaded lot to catch the cool breeze. After a long day at the water nothing beats a relaxing shower. The bathhouse offers laundry then in each bathroom there are showers. The bathrooms and showers were clean and private. Where you can have the water as hot or as cold as you want. They are also climate controlled so you aren't getting out of the shower into a hot and humid room. The entire campground was clean and inviting. Everyone we met throughout our visit was friendly and welcoming and we cant wait to go back.
May 18, 2025 · Nicole KilpatrickVery nice visit. Easy walk to the bay. We had nice views of the wetlands. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Easy access to the RV lot. The beach was nice because it was not crowded. We extended our stay.
Jul 01, 2025 · Amanda IsraelWow! Site A12 .... so beautiful! The staff was great. The campground is older and shows it. We found it charming. Walking the beach in the early morning and evening was perfect. No crowds, no stores, no jet skis.
Jun 23, 2025 · Lissa JuneauBeautiful, well maintained campground. Some of the best sunrises and sunsets you'll ever see. It's more natural than most of the national park campgrounds I've seen. Lot of shady spots or open ones closer to the water. 30amp hookups with some 50s available. We loved it!
May 28, 2025 · Jon ChapmanWe GREATLY enjoyed our stay here! We stayed 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed it! I personally very appreciated that every time we walked in the bath house you could smell that it was clean! And the AC was cold!! ❤️ I loved how close we were to the water! Everyone was so nice! The onsite maintenance folks were top notch on making sure everything was in working order and stayed clean! We loved the local guy that came around to sell fresh caught shrimp! The wildlife we saw was absolutely breathtaking! Dolphins! manatees! Alligators! Pelicans! seagulls! You name it, we saw it! We definitely will be back!
